We recently experienced significant structural damage to our home due to a water pipe leak inside the wall that separates our kitchen and hall bath. Trusted friends’ recommendations led us to call AM Renovations and Handyman Services, LLC. ***** *****, (owner), quickly returned our initial call, arrived at the agreed upon time for our consultation, conducted a thorough assessment, showed us what had to go and clearly explained the entire removal/restoration process. He listened to our tentative ideas about a few additional extras, offered thoughtful recommendations, and helped us gather our thoughts to figure it all out. He then went the extra mile and made it happen! Mr ***** provided us with a detailed, easy to understand estimate 2 days later, (which we consider to be VERY appropriate timing)! The final figure was so nearly spot on as the beginning quote that it’s honestly not even worth mentioning. And the slight increase was ALL ON US! Mr ***** and his crew showed up on time to work each day, and they were polite, respectful, and considerate about my cat when he escaped my room a few times, (one gentleman even temporarily secured a hole in the wall with trash bags because the cat refused to forget about it, and beelined for it when he had a chance). I had no problems leaving them alone in my house, and they secured their work area and cleaned up at the end of each day. I want to add that they loaded up and hauled away ALL the trash, too! They replaced sheetrock, kitchen countertop and cabinets, both bathroom vanities and some fixtures, laid vinyl flooring in kitchen and bathrooms, and painted bathrooms and cabinets, The guys did an awesome job blending the old with the new, and we are very happy with the results! We have already informed them that we will be calling on them again soon for future projects! Mr ***** has a strong work ethic, and he possesses the characteristics of what homeowners consider invaluable in a handyman/contractor. I give 5 stars!
