Hello, On April 19th at 3:06pm, my car was towed from the Flatts apartment complex in Oxford, MS. I have a parking pass, but was towed anyways. This business has a history of price gouging college students, who have little to no way to advocate for themselves. When I called, they were incredibly rude and told us multiple different prices. After speaking to more people in the community, there are no set prices. They charge whatever they feel is appropriate, and will add on fees if they "don't like your tone," this rule is posted in their business. I was told there would be a $150 charge for "overnight storage," but when I arrived with the cop they changed the price. They are already in legal trouble for towing *** *** on the night of their murder, and not complying with the search. Overall, they have a history of shady business practices and the police are investigating them for a number of issues. This business is horrible to customers so they are allowed to charge up to $250 for negative behavior.Business response

Hi, this vehicle, a 2014 Toyota 4Runner (white), was towed from The Flatts South Campus, 900 Whirlpool Dr, Oxford, MS, 38665 due to the pass not being visible. Therefore, making the pass invalid. It also clearly states, on the back side of the pass, "This side must be facing down. The front of the pass must be visible to the tow company or the vehicle will be towed at the owner's expense without further notification." Pricing, PPI starts at $275. Storage is per calendar day at $45 a day plus sales tax. These are set prices and do not change. There also is a sign posted in our office, visible to everyone, that specifically states we do not tolerate any profanity, verbal assaults, or aggressive tones/behavior; violation of this policy will be subject to additional fees. As we like for us all to have a cordial visit. As the business owner, I don't not appreciate the slanderous remarks made without any type of documentation. If you could provide me that proof, I would greatly appreciate it.
