    I have fallen behind on my storage unit payments. Last paid date was 9/30/23. They have charged me $200 in late fees and will not accept a partial payment so that I can get my bill caught up. I tried to take them $200 today, 12/4/23, and she told me the least she can take is $630. I dont understand why they can charge these exorbitant fees and not let me make payments to catch up with my payments. I dont want to lose my belongings and Im trying to get caught up but they will not work with me. I could pay it this week if they took off the late fees. This is ridiculous.

    All tenants follow the same late fee schedule. Tenants may not pay random amounts on their outstanding balances as it is against our company policy to take partial payments. Tenants that are in auction status may pay what we call a "minimum payment"that will remove them from the current auction. This minimum payment consists of all past due rent and all late fees to date only leaving the current month rent owing. Paying the minimum amount does not allow the tenant access to their unit but it does stop their contents from being sold at currently scheduled auction.


    In the 25 months that this tenant has stored with us, she has been late 18 times and has been scheduled for auction 3 times. She is currently 3 months behind, owing for October, November, and now December. Our late fee schedule is outlined in the lease that this tenant agreed to and signed at the time of rental. We encourage her to call the office to get her most current total and to at least pay the minimum amount to stop the auction process.

    I am rejecting this response because: you are crooks. I am attempting to pay my storage unit up to date but your policies **** and are all about taking peoples things and money. I will be in this week to pay and you will open my storage unit so I can clear it out and I promise you that everyone will know what crooks you are.
