I hit a deer in my 2008 bmw in October of 2021 and I called my insurance company. They told me to take it to Barnett Body shop in Byram Ms on hwy 55.. The damage was drivers fender and door and the car was completely driveable and had no lights on the dash no nothing. After taking it to them around 11/9/2021 a week later the lady said the airbag light was on and there was wire breakage. She said it's gonna need a wiring harness so I said ok. Another week later they couldn't get the light off so they sent to someone else. Another week later they got it back but light was still on and now voltage light is on and the battery is dead.. They replace the the battery sent it back and waited for another wiring harness.. Another 2 weeks later they get it back and now the brake light is on and the car won't move.. Another week later she said we done All we can so you have to now go get a tow truck take it to another mechanic shop and let them fix it.. I was so in shock and the insurance company Liberty mutual said we only paying for body work not for their electric mistakes. So I need help with this I never had any mechanical issues or electrical problems before they started working on the wiring.. No airbag light was on before I took it so I feel they cause all the electrical issues- broken wires- voltage light- dead battery- now brake light and the car won't move.. They still have the car and waiting on me to come get it..
