      Hello, I purchased a transmission brand new through summit racing on July 7, 2023. About 7 months ago one of the seals blew, which I replaced out of my pocket. Now, in June of 2024, I started having issues again, towed my vehicle to a transmission shop. The transmission is overheating and venting. The transmission only has 800 miles on it. I have receipt and everything. Called TCI technical support and advised him of the issue, and he said well if you drove it like that for a while it would have an issue. Well, I didnt drive it for a while. I have too much money invested in my car, so as soon as the issue happened, I had it towed. Long story short, look at the reviews, there transmissions go out sometimes within months, luckily mine lasted 12 months until it died. I call technical support and all they wanted to do was find away to say its my fault. How is it my fault when I spent $4k and within a year its no longer good. I reached out to the company and the rep ***** trying to assist even though it has less than 800 miles. Its a 71 cutlass, which I rarely drive it which makes it even worse. I would like something to be done. In the print it says 90 day warranty. ****, it took me 6 months to get the car together. The car only has 800 miles. I would need some assistance such as warranting this bad transmission, ship the new one to a shop and have the crappy one sent back. The transmission i purchased was this TCI-371016 and its a piece of c*** BBB, please look at the reviews, this business shouldnt even be in business. It takes months, if not years to build a classic car and they wont stand by their work.

      Sent torque converter to them to get flushed out after transmission gave out. Torque converter arrived at their facility on 10-26-23 and still have not received it back. Have called every week to find out what is going on with no answer. Said they had it done and would be shipped out 11-20-23 and I would have it by 11-23-23. Did not receive on that day. Last 4 times Ive called they say it is done and in shipping but doesnt have a ship date and they would make some calls and call me back but have never received a call back.

      Bought this transmission on April 26th from Summit Racing for A complete custom 4x4 build. Just got it running on 8-1-23. Transmission has multiple leaks from factory sealed locations. I called to ask if I could take it to a transmission shop to have them fix it, and was told no, I am supposed to take the transmission out, put it in a crate, and ship it back. They know no one will do this for a leak, and they even stated that sometimes their guys forget to put in the correct seals. I asked for the part at least to fix it, and was told no very rudely, they don't do that. I have already spent 300 dollars at a repair shop to fix these leaks to no avail. They said the mating surfaces have bad pitting as they just rebuilt a used transmission that was in bad condition to begin with. I can't believe this company is still in business.

      i bought a TCI lock up kit from TCI AUTOMOTIVE for a 700R4 ****** and it has a DEFECTIVE pressure switch in it...my machanic has called TCI at ************** for TWO days now and left messages and still NO ONE has called back to HELP fix this issue? please call my ********... his name is ***** at ************ to REPLACE pressure switch so I can get my ***** BACK on the road

      Order #*********** December 29, 2021 - I placed an order with TCI for a StreetFighter AODE Transmission '93-'95 4 speed overdrive in the amount of $2,520.95 *********** website advised this was in stock. I spoke to a representative to later confirm they needed parts to build the transmission which caused significant delays and after they received parts to build ********************* confirmed the transmission wasn't passing the dyno test which was causing additional delays. The order was not shipped until 08/22/2022. TCI tested this transmission 08/22/2022. The delays pushed the installation back with my mechanic. My mechanic recently installed the transmission this month (March 2023) and contacted me Monday March 20th 2023 to advise the transmission is not engaging into 4th gear (overdrive). I've been contacting TCI with the number they provided for transmission help **************. I'm unable to reach any representatives. I have left a message, sent an email and submitted a request for assistance on their website 3/20/2023. This is entire experience has cause me significant stress mainly because I have had very limited service. This was a significant purchase and I feel like I was sold a defective product. This should be under warranty. I hope they can approve sending me to a transmission shop locally to help fix this at no expense to me. Please help.

      I bought a 350 turbo trans.TCI super street fighter from Summit racing. Was advertised as new. And could handle up to 775 hp. Well after driving 6 times around my town i noticed a vibration. So after further inspection, I found that the bellhousing on transmission is cracked 3/4 way around. I contacted tci, was told that no they wont fo anything about the faulty part. They also told me there transmissions are rebuilt. Not new as advertised. I spent $2400 on a transmission that was mislead to be brand new not old soft rebuilt stuff. Now im with out a transmission. And TCI was very nasty with me about it. My next step is talking with my attorney.

      I purchased torque converter and it broke internally. Motor is rebuilt and transmission. Is rebuilt only **** miles on every thing . I need my money back please call me ********** ******

      Purchased 512502 750hp c4, had a bad input shaft that was stuck when I received it, sent it back and they let it sit for a few weeks and stuck a inspected tag on it and sent it back out to me with the exact same problem and nobody will get back in touch with me. Just found out today after having a local shop pull it apart, its nothing more than a stock rebuild 3 clutch c4 with a transbrake. False advertising at its finest as itd grenade itself behind a ******
