    Sending deceptive letters about your home warranty is going to expire in 1 week putting my credit union on letter. I knew this was fake to get me to sign up. The *** told me since my warranty expired said would have to see what he could do to reinstate he immediately put me on hold before I could say anything and came back stating ok I can reinstate you by paying ptoday do you have your card ready. I said no can you send me my warranty showing it expired he then started being smart saying you should have it don't you keep your important documents. I said yes I do when it's important he kept trying to pressure me into paying. This letter is so misleading and their tactics are very scary.

    This company uses deceptive marketing tactics to trick consumers into buying home warranty services. I received a letter in the mail stating that my home warranty was about to expire and that my mortgage lender requires home warranty to be extended. The letter did not include the name of the company providing the home warranty (Superior Home Protection) anywhere in the letter. Instead, they included the name of my mortgage lender in multiple places to deceive me into thinking it originated from them.I found out by contacting my mortgage lender directly that they do not require home warranty service as the letter stated, and that this company is not associated with them in any way.I filed a complaint with the *** about this company's use of deceptive marketing techniques, and I encourage everyone who comes here to file a complaint or review to do the same by going to ****************************.

    What a bunch of misleading garbage. The letter appeared to be from *********************, when, in reality these two are not associated. The wording of urgency is nothing more than a scare tactic; aiming to freak out an unwitting home owner. Shame on this company and they should be punished for mail fraud and misleading practices.

    Absolutely a scam. Like many other's here I got a letter in the mail warning about an expired home warranty. Fearing a missed payment I called was was quickly tricked into paying $295 to resolve the issue. It was only after that that I realized I been duped and trying to call back to try and cancel revealed that that numbers I was given were no longer functional. I want nothing to do with this "business" and want my money back. At which point I never want to be contacted by them again.

    My wife and I recently purchased our first home. We received a letter today with some vague alarmist warnings about our expiring home warranty, which appeared to be from our mortgage broker.Upon reaching out to the listed phone number, the representative (****) refused to divulge any information about the specific company he was working for (there was no plain way to tell from the letter), why they had contacted us, if we had a current policy with them, etc.What **** was VERY interested in was selling us a new warranty and asking for financial information to complete the sale. When I pointed out that I was not giving consent to extend, purchase or take any action without ****** company first sending me information regarding what we would be purchasing, **** began to lecture me about how "they are doing this for the homeowner's benefit." **** took a very condescending and aggressive tone. When I again asked for **** to please send me the information about the proposed policy and that I would not be purchasing anything until I had a chance to read the proposal, **** abruptly hung up. The deceitful/alarmist nature of the letter, vague details provided by staff, rude/aggressive sales tactics, and overall unprofessionalism shows Superior Home Protection is a subpar company at best and a dishonest scheme at worst.

    Calling this a scam would be an understatement. They arent scam artists they are scumbags. They send misleading mail trying to invoke fear so that people fall into their trap. I see that they usually respond to complaints here, and I already realize they will respond to this trying to spin it as a misunderstanding on my part rather than the reality. Youre deceitful and you use abusive tactics to prey on what should be an exciting time in someones life.
