On May 22, 2023 I sent World Archaeology Magazine a $34.97 check to renew my annual subscription. The check was mistakenly sent to their Long Island City (** **) address, but was subsequently endorsed. Over the summer I continued to get notices to renew my subscription and the covers on the two magazines I did receive informed me they would be my last issues. I sent two e-mails via the magazine's "contact us" page and then twice phoned their customer service representatives.. I was told to send an explanatory letter with a copy of the endorsed check to their subscription office in ***** ****.. I have already sent two such letters with copies of the endorsed check (on August 29 and September 29). The customer service office has not had the courtesy to acknowledge my letters and I continue to get notices that my subscription is about to expire. Although the fee involved is small, the experience has been exasperating..

Yesterday, June 15, 2023, I was trying to log onto *************** Magazine website to change my address. As far as I was aware, based on the website I read in the ****** listing, I had clicked on *************** Magazine website. After I set up my login, however, I discovered that I had just logged into a magazine subscription company at Mags.com. I don't know how this happened, but I immediately contacted the company and asked to have the account closed. They said they would take care of this promptly, I just needed to give them my name and address. However, I knew that the only personal info I had given when signing up was my email address. So I refused to provide my name and address. Four times they told me I needed to give them my name and address for them to close my account. I told them I would not do that. I cannot get this company to close the account I opened, and I want that account closed immediately. I am not a customer of theirs and I do not believe they have a right to refuse my request or demand any additional personal information. Are you able to help me with this?Thank you,******

Someone bought a subscription for me to The New American magazine. In **************************************************************************** the magazine. In January of this year I emailed the company to ask them to stop sending me the magazine. Customer service representative confirmed that the subscription has been canceled yet I still continue to receive their magazine. Today I emailed them once again asking them to stop sending me their magazine. Thank you.

I've reached out to Girls World magazine to see why I haven't been receiving my daughter's magazine for them since we moved about 9 months ago. Ive been busy and didn't realize how long it had been since we got a magazine and/or renewal notice for this magazine. I also had the same issue with her Animal Tales magazine but was able to resolve that last week with being on the phone with customer service for 2 hours. I've been on the phone with Girls World customer service and the staff is very rude. They can't find my daughter's magazine account and have had me on hold to speak with a supervisor. The staff is upset that I don't have the money order information from a year ago at my finger tips to further search for the account.

This happened February 23 I seen a deduction from my account for 24.95 also it had a 1800 number listed. I contacted them and asked why I had a deduction from this out of my account. He than had said for a magazine subscription. I don't purchase magazines at all haven't read a magazine since the early 90. I told the representative that no I did not sign up for anything. He assured me I wouldn't be charged and cancelled it the same day February 23 but I checked my account later and it was taken from me. I have no clue how to get my money back. Basically it was stolen. I wasn't even on my phone that day to purchase anything. I was snowed in on a blizzard day w all 6 of my kids home. I called and was on waiting again today. Hung up and went to website it mentioned on phone. It was ************ didn't help at all. All they stated was it was cancelled 2/23/23 and there would be no additional charges. I didn't sign up for or purchase anything from whomever this is. The chat lady said *******. Frustrating

I have had a subscription to National Geographic Magazine for over a decade. Recently I was notified of a charge of $51.99 for a yearly subscription renewal. However, the subscription price is only $39 per year. See: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/subscribe/magazines However, I received an email saying: (I can forward the email if requested.) *******************, Thank you for your renewal and continued support of National Geographic magazine. For reference, your account number is: ********** Order Summary: 1 year subscription to National Geographic magazine for $51.99 When I called the National Geographic subscription service, they denied, then deflected, any acknowledgment of the discrepancy. I eventually cancelled the magazine subscription as I thought they were dishonest. I tried to contact National Geographic leadership but failed to find a place to make a complaint other than the subscription service. Basically, the subscription service was charging me an extra $12. I canceled the service, which I regret, but I will not deal with crooks.

I am unable to contact customer support to stop an automatic renewal for a subscription I no longer want. I am unable to make an account to do so, and the 1-800 number provider does not work. I would like the business to contact me since I can not contact them.

We subscribed to Food and Wine just before the first of the year 2022. Since that time our subscriptions to two other magazines were "transferred" to *********** because those magazines ceased publication (Fine Cooking, *************************** Living). In both situations we were informed that our subscription to *********** would be extended by the number of issues that remained as part of our subscriptions to the other two magazines. However, what follows is the reply I received from *********** when I inquired about our subscription status. Because they can't/won't resolve the subscription problems I would like a refund for all undelivered issues of all 3 magazines. Thanks for your help. (More message follows.)Thank you for contacting ***********. As a business decision The Fine Cooking are ceasing publication with the April 2022 issue. Your magazine will be transferred to Food and Wine beginning with the June 2022 issue.Your subscription expires with the November 2022 issue. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know.
