    I took my car in February 15. they called me about a month ago, which means they had it 6 months, and they said they couldn&#**;t find a mechanic. then they said to come get my keys, but to call before I came to ensure there would be someone available to give them to me. I have called them over a dozen times and no one ever answers the phone. I work over the road and I can&#**;t always get there so I call when I can. I have even written them a letter.

    My Truck was there for 10 weeks without being worked on, but was told 2 weeks when I towed it there. I was told 2 weeks again after the first month. They never touched, never called me, never returned my calls, and were never there during business hours when I would stop in, once every week. The last month, i needed my keys so I could tow it to a business that actually worked, but could never find them at the shop, and my phone calls were still not returned, Sometime before the 9th week, my truck was vandalized and caddilac converters were cut off, stereo stolen, ignition torn up, door hande torn up. I finally caught them there yesterday, August 17th, and was told by the owner that he never talked to me, just his mechanic who apparantly quit, and he didn't even work on *****. When I asked what he was going to do about my Truck that now has 4 to 5 thousand additional damage on top of the transmission he never touched, said it wasn't his problem.

    To Whom it may concern,

    When **** *****  came to the shop on August 17th, I apologized for his frustrations.I had never spoke to ****. I explained to him with the downfall of the economy,it has been hard to retain employees and I explained to him that all our employees had quit.I told him we were not going to be able to fix his vehicle.He then told me that it had been broken into and damaged.**** stated he had the vehicle towed to the shop and dropped off in the parking lot.He was not there when it arrived, nor had he ever signed a work authorization.I explained to him if we would have had a signed work authorization and talked to him,we would have brought the vehicle inside.We don’t know what the condition of the vehicle was when it arrived. We have signs posted that we are not responsible for Theft or Vandalism.

    I am rejecting this response because:


       They were never there, and I kept getting told 2 weeks when they would answer the phone, but I tried for over a month to get my keys back so I could tow it to a real bussiness that actually works. The idea my truck was like that when I left it there is rediculous. They had my keys and were there when it was towed to them. And I was never inside to see any sign, because again, they were never there! Never bothered to return my calls, even though when I finally did catch them there and got my keys, I was told he didn't  work on ***** cause that guy quit. Seems like something you might pick up the phone and inform a customer thats been waiting over two months to get fixed, especially if he's leaving messages. The only reason I caught them there when I did is the bussiness in the same parking lot called me to let me know
