On 1/18/2022 we entered into a contract with MKP Holdings of a settlement offer for the elimination of a timeshare contract with **************. The settlement offer states that "this settlement offer is backed by a 110% money back guarantee". We have been unable to contact MKP and find that the phone numbers we were given are no longer available nor have they contacted us regarding any progress. We have moved (same phone numbers and email address), have experienced major health issues and have limited income. We would like to have the Timeshare contract eliminated or our $2350.00 plus 10% returned.Initial Complaint

I have been trying for the last year to get in touch with this company. We paid them $1500 to get ** out of the contract. I have tried numerous times to contact them for the last two years, and I got all kinds of excuses. Now, when I try calling, I get a message that the number is no longer in service. I have been in contract with this business for two years. I have paid the business to get me out of my timeshare in the amount of $2000.00. I have called the business and the operator says that the business is no longer in service, with out a forwarding number. I am thinking it is not a legitimate business they would have a back up number. They have not reached out to me reading the timeshare. I would for them to either end the timeshare or refund me in the amount of $2000.00.Initial Complaint

My parents, ***** and *************************, used MKP Holdings to help them absolve their timeshare and paid them $2,416.909 to do this. I tried to contact MKP Holdings to ask them what to do and we could not reach them at either phone number we had used before. Their phones were both disconnected. We also enrolled with ********* to protect their credit. My folks recently received an invoice from **************** Vacations in the amount of $6,951.24 for maintenance fees dated 1/12/23, due upon receipt. Acct number: *******. MKP **********************: ***************************************************************************** ************ or ************.OR ****************************************************************. This second address is the one shown on the Better Business Bureau website. We hired MKP in the hopes to get out of our timeshare and paid $3800 to do so. They also sold ** on the idea to enroll in ********* to avoid negative hits on our credit while instructing us to stop paying on the timeshare. We have heard absolutely nothing and all calls go unanswered. Per the terms of the agreement, we should be entitled to a full refund.Initial Complaint

MKP Holdings charged us $2200.00 to terminate our timeshare and we have not heard from them. They had us to send via FedEx $2200.00 to help us in terminating our timeshare with *** and *********. We are still paying ********* and have received nothing from either Timeshare about cancelation. They had us to enroll in ********** which will guard our credit once we refuse to pay any timeshare fees, etc. They do nothing to help you, but take your money, disappear, and hope that you either do nothing or do everything by fighting through **********. I want my money back. My husband is out of work and on disability. They last thing we needed to do was through $2200 into the wind. Every dime matters. The saddest part is that they sounded as if they really cared. A total scam!Business response

I spoke with this client earlier this evening and I think we're both on the same page for the moment. We certainly could have been in contact with her to make sure they completely understood our process.
