I have contacted ***** **** several times over the last three weeks to reimburse my funds of which she failed to do. I was then told by outside sources that I will not get my money back as this is what she does to anyone who is kicked out or leaves her program and is what she has done for many years. I desire you to do the inspections and investigation as well as possible before talking to ***** **** first because she is notorious for lying. I would like an inspection of every property and any other thing before there is any communication with ***** ****.

Please refer to the attached letter.

********* husband was in our program. We are willing to refund for the time not used but paid for. Please let us know how ******* would like to receive her funds and we can go from there.

Check **** was sent 2-13-23…. For overpayment of $126. Original payment was made on credit card. She did request refund in December. Our policy is to return funds to original method of payment. Ms. ***** no longer had that credit card. She tried to provide different card but that didn’t work, so that was part of the delay. Then she kept verbally abusing staff so I had staff block her block her from receiving her abusive and harassing texts at all hours. I have never held any overpaymenrs from clients and never had any issue sending refunds. Ms. ***** just chose to make this process more complex by not cooperating and then getting abusive!

    Business Response

Wee sent a refund check to Mrs. ***** for the amount she was owed after she provided an address in her last response. However I do not believe Mrs. ***** will be satisfied no matter what we do. We have copies of the same texts we can happily provide, and based on time stamps, the language used, and the amount of texts, it will easily show the extent of her  abuse and immaturity. I believe this matter to be closed as we have sent her refund back and her husband failed out of program. We have ceased communication with her because of her abusive and inappropriate communication. Due to her actions throughout, we have decided that we would not accept her husband back. Her accusations that this is a pattern for our company are unfounded, her continued libel against New Beginning stem from her guilt from her involvement in her husbands failure!
We have never had a BBB complaint until now so this is not a pattern for our company. I am not sure where she is getting her misinformation however I doubt her fact checking is credible. She continues to make unfounded complaints to anyone who will listen, however because our track record is stellar and her claims are false, her complaints do nothing but waste time. My hope is that now that refund has been issued, this matter is closed!

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

To start, ***** **** had my address and told me she would send me a check at the start of the year, the only time I got a partial refund was when I got the Better Business Bureau involved, as she still owes me 72 dollars.  My husband, ******* *****, was kicked out of the program for a false UA of which it has been stipulated that we went to ***** ******** the following morning to get another one which came up clean and also did a hair follical test which also came up clean.  These, of course, were all performed within five days from ********* removal from the program.  We stayed in *********** waiting on her from December 29th to January 3 of this year to respond and also send us the UA they performed.  Never received that one either. Again, my husband has pulmonary fibrosis and is on several medications just to keep him alive. I have written all of the imperative information in the letter that was sent in the beginning.  I am more than happy to provide the BBB any evidence I have to support the negligence of this company in the progression of ********* recovery.  She failed to communicate her true intentions to not allow him back into her program due to her faulty UA. She demanded he detox and the detox centers that she suggested to get him in; ******* ***** ****** and her affiliated detox center ********* ******, both of whom said they wouldn't take him because he did not need detox.  She ignored my texts during this time, of which me and my family paid over $1000 dollars for a hotel room waiting for our next step.  She got to have her New Years holiday while we stressed out in a hotel room, while ******* dealt with a flu of which she lied and said he was obviously detoxing from substances he would never do.  I have a test from ***** ******** that proves that he had the flu while she keeps insisting he was detoxing.  If you require these things, I would, again, be more than happy to provide them. The only reason this is the first complaint filed through the BBB is because she goes after those individuals who are ill informed and easily manipulated, so of course they don't know what to do. Please re-read the documents I've attached to this complaint, and I still stand in my position because my husband and myself experienced it.

To sum up this whole mess, first ***** **** had my card information on file, of which she said she would reimburse me the 198 dollars, and only gave me 126 dollars and still owes me 72 dollars, then she said that I had changed my card of which is a lie.  She then said she did not have my address of which is on file as well, and failed to send a check.  Also, the homes are hazardous for living, and yet no one want to address that.  I request a full investigation, as you can clearly see she has changed her story many times.  Any evidence that the BBB desires, I am more than willing to provide what I have.

    Sincerely,

    ******* *****
