    We rented ******************* for 4yrs and after the move out inspection they charged us for a new stove telling us the stove top has a heavy damage and wear to it. When in fact the said stove is perfectly working, it's old and obviously would have wear and tear to it because we've been using it for years and tenants before us! We talked to the manager personally after the pre move-out inspection, and she did not say anything about the stove. She mentioned about the 2 light bulbs that needs to be changed, And that's it! Even in the pre move-out form, noted about the 2 bulbs that must be replaced, and nothing about the stove. I don't think that's a reasonable charge on us, it's a working stove top, that can't be cleaned like new because it's old and obviously because we've been using it for years. It's a normal wear and tear plus It's not a brand new stove when we rented the apartment. We communicated this with the ***** apt managers, and their solution is just to divide the charge into 12 equal payments. We felt taken advantage of, at the last minute they charge us a brand new oven!

    I wish I could give a negative rating. It is not an exaggeration to call TLC evil. They will not treat tenants as human beings, but as potential checks. I am a veteran and I repeatedly told front desk workers that I would need them to be accommodating of my PTSD. I cannot have strangers enter my home without permission or time to mentally prepare myself. All I was asking for was for a front desk worker to SCHEDULE a time with me for things like filter changes and other basic maintenance. Each time I requested this, the workers would handle me and assure me that they would be taking care of it, and every time they were lying. ************** can and will enter the units with impunity, regardless of whether or not the tenants tell them to leave. On one occasion a maintenance worker was banging on my door even after I had loudly and clearly told him to go away and come back later. This repeated three times before he just unlocked the door with his master key and entered blatantly against my wishes. He walked in on my girlfriend and I having ***. When I called TLC to report the incident they didn't care at all, and simply reminded me that I signed a lease and was obligated to pay until it's completion. Horrible horrible ****** company and I honestly hate the people who even just work there. Trash people all around.
