    I did a return and was given the wrong refund. I emailed and texted the company multiple times and called with no response. This is the original text The return that was received today by you guys. The refund was the wrong amount. Order ******. Should've been 2 original Sherpa stretch blankets and 1 original stretch blanket. Check the boxes that was received today.

    My significant other and I chose to purchase the big blanket companies weighted blanket. The model we purchased was discontinued in 2022, and now we are unable to get a replacement duvet cover for it. The initial duvet cover zipper was damaged by our puppy. A new duvet replacement was ordered in 2023 for about $60. In less than a year the zipper on that cover broke. Initially I thought it was due to our dog but further inspection indicates that is not the case. In attempt to repurchase a new duvet cover I was told that it was discontinued in 2022 and that I can buy the new weighted blanket. Then I explained that after spending such a large amount on the initial blanket that I was confused on how I would be expected to spend another almost $500 to replace something. I was then offered a 50% discount of the set. Which I assumed would be the 50% off of my cart total of $405. I elected to pick the grey duvet cover and the king size weighted blanket. The grey cover is out of stock which is the only color I wanted so I was sent an invoice for just the weighted part at 50% off the price totaling ******. With no cover. No resolution to my problem. No assistance in getting the product I want.

    We have done everything in our power to resolve this issue amicably. 

    We have a 100 night guarantee on all of our products, as is clearly stated on our website. This product was purchase over 1-year ago.

    Even though the purchase was made well beyond the 100-night guarantee, we tried to offer a replacement of an updated product line at 50% off retail value. The customer did not want the offer we provided. 

    The customer is clearly disappointed the product line they purchase was discontinued, which we can understand, however, a product being discontinued over a year ago is not grounds for a BBB complaint. 

    We have gone above and beyond what an ordinary business would do to appease the customer and believe the customer will not be satisfied with any outcome. 

    We have over ******* satisfied customers, and do everything in our power to provide a stellar customer experience.

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

    a solution was not come to. I was offered 50% off a set, then the set I wanted was out of stock so I was just sent an invoice for a weighted blanket with no cover. A weighted blanket with no cover is the exact same situation I am in now which is completely useless. While I understand their warranty is 100 days, I was offered 50% off after initially being just sent a link to buy the new product.  Then that 50% off was of the retail price which is currently on sale for 30% off so not really much of a discount considering the current sale price. Spending that much money on a product it should last longer than a year. You can say that it doesnt warrant a complaint but when I spend $400 on a blanket I dont expect to have to replace it after a couple of years. Which was initially at the full price because no discount was offered until I expressed being unsatisfied.
