    June 2024, I purchased a dryer from this business with the expectation that it would function properly. Unfortunately, the unit malfunctioned the very next day. I returned it promptly and was told that it would be repaired or replaced. When the dryer was returned to me, the original problem still existed it had not been ******** that point, I spoke with a store manager who was very helpful and understanding. As a resolution, the manager provided me with a brand-new dryer directly from the box. I accepted this replacement in good faith and assumed the issue was resolved.However, months later, I received a phone call from a new manager at the store. This persons tone was accusatory and unprofessional. I was shocked when I was told that I was "in possession of stolen property." I was treated as if I had stolen the dryer an item that was willingly and properly given to me by store management as a solution to an earlier issue .All I want is peace of mind, closure, and fairness.I have a mental illness and this has been very overwhelming to deal with.The local police said it's a paperwork error and I'm in no wrong doing cause I'm making monthly payments. This matter has gone on to long and not even any help to resolve this from corporate office. I'm reaching out ask that you assist in mediating this issue and ask the business to: issue a formal apology, acknowledge I am not in possession of stolen property, correct their internal records, and assure no further action will be taken.     Thank you for reaching out in regards to this complaint. 

    Personally spoke with customer after this issue I was nit the one who communicated this information with him however I did resolve the matter and apologize.

    Customer was in possession of leased equipment issue has been resolved with customer. Customer was contacted about payment.

    Manager that was involved is no longer with us.
