A limb from my neighbors yard fell in my back yard in July 2023. They Hired this company to remove the limb and tree. *********************** asked if he could use my back yard to remove the tree. I agreed under the condition that he would fix the damaged caused by the machinery he used. He stated he would make it better then new. I have emails of him promising to come back but my yard is still a mess.Business Response

On 6/26/22, I entered into a contract with the owner of Roots Plus, LLC for Oak Gall treatment for the Pin Oak tree in my front yard and removal of dead branches. The service was to consist of 10 deep root injection treatments to begin the week of 6/27/22, with a second treatment within two weeks of the first fertilization, and then subsequent fertilization treatments would continue every 30 days thereafter. Check number **** was written for $660.00 which was the tree trimming deposit and payment of $60.00 for the first root treatment. On 6/27/22, I was contacted that the first fertilization treatment would be done that day and I was here to witness the process and obtain a service order form and indication that my $660.00 check was received. On 6/30/22, The owner and his tree trimmer came to trim the lower dead branches which could easily be accessed by a short lift. As I was leaving for work and the trimming was underway, I left the second check #**** for $600.00 with the owner, assuming the job was going to be completed that day. However, only fifty percent of the tree trimming was completed and only some of the yard clean-up of dead limbs and thousands of oak galls was completed. They left claiming that it was now dark and they would return the next day to finish the job. I waited for over a week for them to return and I finally had to clean up my yard myself, as the piles were killing my grass and the limbs that had fallen into my smaller tress were weighted down to the point of possibly breaking, so I had to get on a ladder and do it myself, despite having diagnosed vertigo, and not supposed to be on ladders. After 5 weeks, I asked for a refund so that I can hire another company to complete the trimming and start treatments as this is TIME SENSITIVE (tree is critical). I have been friendly and patient, and understanding of his staffing problems, but he should not have deposited the checks until the job was completed. I am seeking a refund.Business Response
