      I had n home inspection done on a house I was purchasing. I thought I was going to be a happy customer until after we purchased the home and noticing the stair stringers coming from our deck were rotten and split. Nothing was noted in the report about the rotten stair stringers that Pillar ******* wrote. When I called them the said it must of happened after their inspection. I had someone come out to look at them to get a quote to fix and they said that kind of damage would have been there for at least over a year! So disappointed when I called Pillar *******! I was not even asking them to repair. I just wanted them to know their inspection was not adequate! They were so rude and would not even listen!

      This client was saying that her deck stringers were rotted and were visible during the inspection. These stringers were not visible per the inspector. The client waited until last week to reach out to us for an inspection we performed in April (7 months prior). Every time our inspector tried to explain, the client cut him off and saying I knew you would say that. Nothing was deficient on the deck but loose railings which was noted. She wouldn't have a conversation with the inspector and just hung up on him.
