      We hired HVACandMoore to install a new 90+ furnace and a 17 SEER A/C unit in our house back in September of 2023, along with replacing or repairing all of the ductwork as the house sat abandoned for several years. The old furnace had already been removed and was electric, so gas piping would also need to be done, as he was aware. Here it is, December, and no ductwork has been done, and the furnace that he set in, but hasn't hooked up, is an 80% efficient furnace! He keeps coming up with excuse after excuse and keeps promising to "make it right", but I haven't seen anybody out there to work on it for a couple weeks. We've paid him almost the full amount as he kept saying he needed "supplies". And we haven't even seen the A/C unit as it was supposedly damaged during transit. I thought I would help out a small business get started, but all they have done is drag their feet and leave us in the cold. Literally.

      Hvac and Moore was contacted via choice home warrenty to come out and look at our a/c unit that was not working. He came out on 06/13 and unit was shot. He than was approved to install new unit and we were to pay him $1100.00 He settled on $900.00. He came out 06/23 to install. Pulled out old outside unit and welded the line in 5 different places instead of replacing. Inside coil was not inside metal unit, he cut open our existing metal unit and placed the coil in wrongly, and wired it up wrong, and then sealed it with heat tape. He left for the day, stating that unit would work and he would be back on Tuesday AM 06/27 to finish. He left old unit also on side of house. No more than he had left, line froze up. We had to turn unit off and deal with no a/c for more days. Tuesday morning came and went, and I finally texted HIM in the afternoon. He had been in accident and had no clue when he could come back out. We called another a/c place and they came out next day. The coil that was installed was a wrong one, but even if it was the right one for our unit, it was placed in sideway, hung with cords and not completely wired in correctly. The new company took the sliced up metal box containing the wrong coil and replaced it, wired it correctly, installed all the lines needed, replaced the multi-welded line. Lo and behhold it all works correctly. While Hvac & Moore was out working on our unit, my husband heard them many times talking to themselves about not knowing how to do it. This company is totally unprepared for a/c work.
