    This business was suggested to me after doing a search on Angies list for a painter. ****** reached out and set up an appointment with me on September 29 to give me a quote for three painting projects. He was quick to respond and get the initial appointment set up, so I felt good about siding a contract with him that day I gave him a down payment for 50% of the project which was $680. At the time he told me he is about 30 days out on projects which was fine. He cashed my down payment check on October 7. Towards the end of October as we were reaching 30 days, I reached out to ****** a couple of times to try to get an idea of when he would schedule my projects. I work in retail and its a very busy time of year for me so I was trying to get a time. We went back-and-forth for a couple of weeks, first he told me that he was trying to finish outside projects. Then after reaching out to him several times and not hearing anything for two weeks, he texted me saying he had been sick. When I asked him if he could give me an estimated date of what he would get my projects done he stopped responding. About a week went by and I sent him a text message saying that I needed to have a scheduled date or I would want my money back he then scheduled me for December 12. I hadnt heard from him in the week time between setting up that date and the day that he was supposed to be there so I texted him on December 11 asking what time I should expect him to arrive and if there was anything I needed to have Prepared to get started. He once again hasnt responded. At this time, I do not trust that he is a reliable businessman and I do not want him in my home. I am seeking help to get my down payment back.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  As long as Brush & Paint follows through with the refund he has promised.
