I hired Super Cheap Movers LLC on 4/22/25 for a move date of 4/24/25. I was told on the phone when we talked that the total was $300 with a $100 deposit. I asked would they wrap my mattresses and TV and they said yes, but would charge extra for the TV and I said do not worry about the TV I would move that myself. When I received the invoice it was for $337 so I called the gentleman back to ask why was there difference and I was told due to mileage and administrative fee. I was told the movers would be there on 4/24 at 9am and the balance of $237 would be due on 4/24. So when movers arrived it was 2 movers and 1 *** who was in charge. He explained that they would be here from 9-11am based off what I requested, anything after that it would be $100 an hour. So I left my house at 9:45am to drop my son off to school. I come back around 10:15am and they still have no moved anything and still wrapping the entire house. I asked the movers why are you all wrapping everything bc I did not ask for that. I was told that it's by law they wrap everything to protect them. I said STOP wrapping bc I'm pass the 11am time now and I'm being charged $100 an hour and I don't have the extra money for this. So I go outside and talk to the *** who is sitting in the truck and told him that they are going way over my allocate time and I don't want to spend no $500 so can you have them move faster. He says ok, but they have to wrap everything. I said STOP the wrapping and move my stuff ASAP. He said well you can text his number saying "waive liability" and they will not wrap anything else. So I did that and ask them to move faster. Everytime the movers came out to put stuff in the truck, the *** tells them how to put things in the truck like it's their first time. This *** had no sense of urgency because it was not his money being spent. He was just dragging his foot on everything. So when we finally get to storage unit to drop off my furniture, he would not release anything without $736 pmt.Business Response

We completed her move, nothing broken. It did go over time; we give an intial quote of 2 hours. This customer left for two hours so it's hard to know what's going on when she wasn't there. It went a total of five hours; we charged her for the work that we did. There will be no refund.Customer Answer

They are already not being truthful, because I NEVER left for 2-3 hours. I left for 20 mins to drop my son off to school. They arrived at 9:05am. I left at 9:20am because my son had to be to school at 9:30am and I was back at my house by 10:10am, because I had a 10:30am work phone call to take. I sat at my kitchen table on the phone working. If I left for 2-3 hours like they claim so you mean to tell me they kept working knowing they went over the 2 hour time limit that I was paying for. I was quoted a price of $300 for 2 hours, and that was 9-11am. They need to be honest and stop with all the lies because if you look at their ******** page they all have ALL these people complaining about their service and they doing exactly what they did to me to other people. A company like this DOES NOT need to be in business because all they do is take advantage of people, and then they held my furniture hostage on their uhaul truck until I paid the $736. This man sat there talking to me wasting time while the clock is still ticking and my payment kept going up until I paid that money. And then this man got disrespectful, and I was very surprised for a "business owner" to act this way instead of handing the situation totally different. My boyfriend got off work to come up there because I had no idea what this man was going do because I felt threaten. When my boyfriend got there they were already gone and then we went to there place of business and the business does not exist. We were inside the business and was told that was a beauty salon and not a moving company. So basically we got scammed and I was out $736 because of this man preying on women, and that is ridiculous. Somethings needs to be done about this man and his fake business. He didn't even have a moving truck. He had one of those uhaul rental trucks, and I saw that after I went outside when they were taking so long to move my stuff. I have pictures of all the stuff they actually left at my house that they NEVER moved. With me having to pay $736 you would have thought they would have gotten everything out of my 2 bedroom apt. I had to end up moving ALL the stuff they left myself. So what the h*** did I pay $736 for, because the man in charge was a waste of my time and money. Sometime needs to be done because people preying on people like this is wrong. They need to be locked up.Initial Complaint

The worst experience I**;ve ever had in my life. I called the company about a week before the move. i moved on the 21st. I had called to get a quote. They said it was a two hour window to move. I was getting belongings out of a storage unit into a one bedroom apartment. There were so many additional charges that i was not informed about in the estimate. They told me it would be $324.00 and my final bill was $800. They didn**;t tell me about charging me for: wrapping, the truck, a 5% fee that I didn**;t know about or what it was for, plus taxes. There was some damage on my two tv stands; they only had two guys for my move. The H33313830383232**3731H were not handling my furniture properly. I think they were inexperienced; they were moving very slow. They took a lot of breaks. After the two hours were up thats when they started adding fees. It took 6 hours to complete the move. I think they did this on purpose. They wrapped the furniture without my permission and without my knowledge. I literally ran out of money and had to call someone to help me. While we waited, they charged me for it. I called law enforcement. They refused to unload the truck without payment. They threatened to take my belongings, and also add additional fees.Business Response

They did no work . They broke our tv and blamed me because we didn't waive liability so I took that loss. They fought each other for an hour . They took to much time on certain items . They through our stuff out the movers truck like it was trash and me and my wife had to move it in on our own because they say they ran out of time and we weren't paying for extra hours plus it rained on our things. The Supervisor and I almost got into physical fight because they were going take the rest of our belongings because they took to long on the move and ran out of time they ( being the supervisor) after taking breaks and restroom breaks . They didn't finish the job either. This company is a joke please Do Not use them ever even if you're short on cash. Do the move with professional movers or do it yourself please.Business Response

I was the supervisor. We bill the customers by the hour. we issued them a discount on our hourly rate. They had a problem with making the payments. After three hours they had no money. When we arrived they wanted us to take the furniture w/o wrapping it (protecting it). It was raining and we knew it would get wet. They had **s but not ** boxes. The husband damaged the screen of the ** by placing it in his small car. They waived liability because of this. This is why the furniture was damaged. We moved the things. She got upset by this. We are not responsible for the items that were in the car e., big screen **. We text every hour when we charge an additionally hour. We start all moves at a minimum of 2 hours. We don't book unless they understand they are being charged by the hour. If they don't pay by cash there is a processing fee of 5%. They got upset and I called my supervisor to talk to them. He assaulted me. **** (office manager) threatened to call the police.
