Thank you all for the reviews. Yes, I was summoned and will be in court at the end of the month. I called the contact number from this page and spoke to someone regarding a payment plan. He shared he would email a form for me to sign and return which would stop the court proceedings and I would NOT need to attend. This was two weeks ago. Today I decided to call as I continued to wait for this document. This seems a bit fishy, I will attend court to stop this judgment and make payment arrangements with the representative

In certain situations, federal law classifies K&F as a debt collector. Under federal law, specifically the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, K&F cannot communicate about debt collection activity with any third party without the consumers consent. The purpose of the requirement is to avoid shaming anyone over nonpayment of a debt. Therefore, in this situation, K&F cannot reply to the Better Business Bureau regarding this review even to confirm whether K&F has been attempting to collect a debt.We should also mention that the BBB classifies the reviewing party as K&Fs customer. Even if K&F were attempting to collect a debt from the person who made the review, that person would be the customer of K&Fs client, not of K&F. K&Fs client is its customer. K&F nevertheless tries to provide the best service that it can to consumers. While K&F cannot respond to the particulars of this complaint, K&F would state generally that it makes every effort to provide accurate information to consumers. K&F takes all complaints seriously, and K&F will investigate this review. K&F will communicate the results of the investigation directly to the person who made this review and provide that person with information to enable them to contact K&F about it. If the BBB has any further questions or concerns, please contact our office.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the concerns stated in the review.

Not professional. Dont return phone calls after multiple messages left. No one will help me bc its their not their case. Even when I explained no messages have been returned. Reviews are bad. How does the bbb let this happen to people who are trying to do the right thing? Oh wait they arent accredited. Are they just debt collectors saying they are lawyers. They will blow your phone up for money but wont answer after over a year of paying to see where you are on the debt still owed. Bc they just mail you statements with the payment coming out not the balance after your payments. They should be sending you a full statement from total balance with year or years to date with payment summary and remaining balance. Its pretty simple. No wonder all the reviews are bad and no one will help you with if its not their case. ***** *****. Ive left multiple messages and no return call. Even though his vm said he promised to return calls. Well 4 weeks later still waiting. And when you call hes in but vm only. Do better *****. And Kramer and frank. Im trying to do the right thing and take care of my business. Also I only gave a star bc they dont gave negative stars

They have collectors representing themselves as attorneys when they contact you.I went to court with a substantial payment and was told by the attorney to continue to make payments so I wouldn't have to court again. I found out later that a judgement had been decided without me. I called to get an explanation but was hung up on by collector *** ****.These people are vultures who prey on people's misfortune.

***************************************** PC is absolutely distasteful. No only can they not manage their own business and accounts but theyll put ALL the blame on you. For the first year, they had my account sitting in someones files that wasnt even in office, they were out for prolonged leave and they werent managing the voicemail box of that person either. Then the account/reference number I had was wrong because they CHANGED my account number and I was not alerted with any type of mail correspondence. Then because of THEIR indiscretions I got taken to count where the first time they didnt even show up! Oh wait, they filed for movement to another day. I showed up though, missing work. (All of this W/O even a summons or alert that I was being taken to court.) I found out by seeing my name on the docket. They didnt even TRY to give the summons, my significant other was always home. No one ever came by.The second court date THEY were late. The judge themselves said if they dont show up hed file for dismissal! Not once did they uphold their agreement to send the payment arrangement information to me, took forever just to get any information I could after SO many phone calls. No account updates mailed or emailed as I requested. Then I call and call and call, wouldnt hear back for weeks. I updated my phone number with them TWICE and they still called the old number. They are lazy, unorganized and unable to do so much as keep clients information up to date and in order. They are incredibly rude, dont expect to have your questions answered or even your calls in a timely manner because it isnt going to happen.

****************************************** PC, takes its service seriously and investigates all complaints. The customer complained about her treatment by our representatives and asked us to check phone recordings, but did not inform us about the account involved. Nor would we ask her to in a public forum. But without the account information, we were unable to locate her telephone calls. And if we could locate them, we might not be free to comment publicly about them if they involve a debt owed by a consumer. The federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act forbids us to discuss the account of a consumer with any third party, even one seeking to provide information, without the permission of the consumer. That, of course, would include the public at large as well, for the obvious reason that we have no desire to embarrass or shame anyone over a debt. Accordingly, we might not be able to respond to specifics. But it is possible that our representatives informed the customer that we had to have permission to talk to her, which may be the source of her dissatisfaction. If the customer would like to contact us directly to provide specifics, we may be able to provide a ****** response. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the concerns expressed by the customer.

I was trying to get information regarding a garnishment and their representative hung up on me while I was trying to get an answer. She informed me that a garnishment isn't a "payment" yet didn't explain what she meant by that She had VERY poor customer service!

Because the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act forbids revealing information about debt collection activity to any third party, ****************************************** PC, cannot respond to the particulars of the review even to confirm or deny that it attempted to collect a debt from a particular consumer. ***************************************** takes all complaints seriously, however, and will investigate the statements made in the review if it indeed conducted any debt collection activity involving the reviewer and will take appropriate action in response.
