Went into the ER was not feeling well, they recommended a colonoscopy. I was informed that I could pay my deductible that day in the amount of $1700.00 and because we paid it, we were offered a cash discount and we ended up paying $1445.00 we were informed that it would be reported that we paid the $1700.00 deductible. We received two bills from SSM for $1700.00 each. One was for the ER in the amount of $1700.00 and the other bill was for the Colonoscopy in the amount of $1700.00 and we therefore had a conference call between ****** and the Billing department and my husband and I. The billing department admitted that they made a mistake. They agreed to make the necessary adjustments. Then you received a bill in the amount of $85.00. Then we called again last week why would have to pay anything, they stated that it was our responsibility to pay the $85.00. Why should we have to pay when we already paid and it was credited that we paid $1700.00. They called us yesterday and still they stated that we are responsible for the $85.00. I would like a billing adjustment because I feel I should not have to pay anything. My account number: ************ ********* **** *************
