  Thank you for writing the review on our company. It was an honor to work with you. You now have a very attractive, new chain link fence. Chain link seemed to go out of favor for a few years. Many HOA's do not allow chain link. But we have been seeing a resurgence in the last few years. Chain link is durable, inexpensive and yet attractive, particularly if you select the vinyl coated product. However, chain link is more laborious to install and many fence companies do not have the in-house talent for chain link. We install every type of fence and have crews specially trained and dedicated to specific options. The technical expertise and exceptional service that we provided you is not limited to fences. We provide the same professional installation on decks, sunrooms, retractable awnings and concrete work. We look forward to working with you on your next outdoor project.

  I got several bids for my new fence (6-ft black vinyl coated chain link). Easter Fence was competitive, and the only one who came out to measure and made a drawing of the fence (333 feet of it) and placement of 3 gates. They gave me a week's notice on their start date, which worked fine for me. (They would have moved it if I'd needed to do that.) ******** arrived promptly on both days, and they cleaned up everything everywhere. I wasn't home when they finished up and discovered a problem with two of the gates. I emailed the project manager that night, and he responded the next morning that the crew would be back to fix them. The next day I came home from work to find they'd reset posts to fix the problem. Everyone was friendly, responsive, and helpful whether I was calling in to the office or speaking with the crew. I would definitely recommend Easter Fence.

However, you clearly understand what I regularly preach to our team. "Everyone makes mistakes from time to time, but one of the marks of a good company is how they respond to issues. A problem is an opportunity to show that you stand behind your work and that you provide excellent customer service after the sale." We are committed to doing the job right every time. In the rare event that something is not right, we will correct it promptly. We are a 67 year old, family-owned business that takes a lot of pride in our heritage and family name.   Hired this company to install a driveway gate. I paid half up front and waited almost three months for them to begin the project. Once they started the projected they have complications with having the proper materials to complete the project. They kept showing up to the project and leaving due to not having the correct materials to complete the project. A three day job took almost 8 months to complete and they over drafted my account and tried to justify the overdraft by claiming it was owed for interest. There is a real communication disconnect between the installers and the office managers. This company will take your funds up front and start your project later and work on your project part time while they work on other projects at the same time. Be cautious when using this company make sure you everything is in writing and payment arrangements are clearly established on paper.

  We received a contract for this job on February 8, 2024. We started the work on May 9th and completed it on May 11th. We have pictures of a beautiful job with nice custom work across a curb separating the customer's sidewalk and driveway. The customer complained that he did not like the standard latch that came with the fence. We offered a free upgrade to a double-locking latch, but unfortunately the latch would not work on this application due to lack of space. We offered several other latch alternatives. Twice we scheduled an appointment and the customer stood us up. For four (4) months he did not pay the balance due or respond to voicemail messages. Finally, after we informed him that we were going to turn the case over to our attorney, he agreed to pay in full. We offered to waive the interest if he paid in full by December 12th. Note that this was 7 months after we completed the job. He failed to meet the payment date and the interest charges therefore remained. He does make a good recommendation when saying, make sure everything is in writing and payment arrangements are clearly established on paper. We are a sixty-seven (67) year old, well-established company with a great reputation. Of course we have contracts. Everything is in writing and payment arrangements are clear. This customer apparently just thought he should not have to honor his commitment even though he received a great product and great workmanship. In fact, please check ******** Casenet. I counted thirty (30) cases that this gentleman is or has been involved in. This is ******** only and his mailing address is in ********. He is no stranger to losing cases, but I suspect gets enough out of court settlements to consider lawsuits a good side gig. We are one of the cases on Casenet. It is Case Number 24SL-SC00089-01. He had taken us to small claims court and his case was thrown out. The judge actually threatened him with contempt of court and jail time. Review sites like the BBB or great tools for the consumer. I wish there was a similar site that companies could use before doing work for individuals.

  Thank you for taking the time to write a review. However, as much as I appreciate a 5-star review, I must admit that I think you reviewed the wrong company. We are Easter Fence, Deck and Renovations in *********, **. We've been in business since **** and we are recognized as the premier fence, deck and sunroom builder in the ********* area. Judging by your zip code I believe you worked with an unrelated company in the ************** area. I'm very glad to learn that a company out East bearing a similar name also does great work. Please revisit the BBB website and leave them a nice review.

  We, a HOA, did a competition to fix multiple locations our 20 year old white vinyl fence. The Easter attention to detail and price were fantastic and their price was far cheaper than their competition and our prior contractor. Although it took a few months for the repairs, it was still quicker than our prior contractor.A prior fence company had replaced posts higher than adjacent posts plus some lean a little. Easter repaired 12 different locations. All the posts were the same height as adjacent posts plus didn't lean. I know where all the repairs were completed. However, I could not distinguish between the old and repaired sections, except where ********, which didn't need replacing, still had a small smudge from the dirty snow where it had been laying.

  Thank you for writing the review. I was not surprised to read that we did great work on a timely basis. That is the norm. I must admit that I was a bit surprised to learn that we were "far cheaper". We pride ourselves in providing the best product, service and workmanship at a fair and very competitive price. But "far cheaper" normally is not the case. However, it make sense on a job like this. Most of our competitors don't like doing repairs and raise prices considerably when bidding one. Then when you throw in additional complications, such as 12 different locations, their prices become "far higher". We, on the other hand, plod along doing the right thing, treating people fairly and doing great work. The tough jobs or difficult scenarios don't scare us away. After 67 years in business, we are capable and willing to handle about any challenge. Thank you for your confidence in the Easter team. It was an honor working with you. Please remember us for future projects such as a new fence, deck, sunroom or concrete work.

  Easter Fence Co made the process of building a new deck extremely easy. We just built a new house and this was the first vendor in the whole process that actually finished ahead of their estimated timeline which is impressive in the current economy. The quality of work is excellent and the team was so friendly, both sales and builders. I would recommend Easter to anyone in the market!

  I definitely would not hesitate to recommend Easter Fence Co. I am very happy with the work ***** and **** did and they were a delight to work with!!*** was very accommodating as I changed the plan a couple of times before the work started and he had to re-do the estimate. Our goal is for the customer to be 100% happy with the end product. It is important for the customer to be able to make some changes along the way without being nickeled and dimed for every little thing. It is common in construction that customers ******* real hard for change orders. We, however, do not take advantage of our customers. Charges may apply, but we are always fair.   We are very happy with Easter Fence and Deck. Easter Fence came highly recommended by my neighbor for the deck they had completed. They just completed a fence replacement and my wife and I could not be happier with the end product. Even with hot weather they were able to complete the project in about 2 weeks which included demo of existing fence and total rebuild. The crew were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and kept me informed each step along the way. we were very happy at how clean the left the work site each evening. We would recommend them to anyone considering a fence (and deck) replacement and will definitely use them again for any future renovations.
