    I called The Fix on Wednesday March 27, 2024 and asked if they could fix the port for the AC/DC adapter for my laptop. They assured me they could. I explained to the employee over the phone that the port needed to be saudered off and replaced and I asked if they were able to do so. The employee assured me it could be done. I then went to The Fix inside of the Galleria Mall and spoke to the employee ****. I showed him that my computer was not holding a charge and then he quoted me 209 dollars to fix it before taxes. I paid 215.09 for the service, gave **** my laptop and adapter and I asked when it would be done to which he assured me the following week on Monday or Tuesday and they would call me. On Wednesday April 3 I called to get a update for when I could retrieve my laptop. The employee explained to me that the part took longer than expected and arrived the day before and it would be fixed soon and they would call me. On Wednesday April 10 I called again for a update and I was told that they just got the part and they moved my laptop to be fixed at another “The Fix” location in West County mall and they would call me back. I called The Fix location in Galleria and West County mall on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday and received the same information, that it’s not fixed and they would call me. On Sunday April 14th I wrote a ****** and **** review of 1 star detailing the issues I was having with The Fix. Finally on Monday April 16 I told them that I would arrive at The Fix in Galleria (since it has been 3 weeks at this point) to retrieve my laptop by 3pm. I was informed that it was fixed. When I arrived at 3pm I received my laptop and saw that it still had the same issue with charging and I ask for a refund. The employee told me he could not authorize a refund and to come back the next day to receive one. Once I arrived on Tuesday April 16 to get a refund I was told that I had 2 options. Either leave my laptop again to be fixed. Or remove my review for 50% refund.
