I have been a customer of this company for over 20+ years. In May of 2021 I had new carpet installed on my stairs and upstairs landing. I had my carpets cleaned around 2 months later. When the cleaners left there were visible marks/lines in the carpets very visible on my stairs and upstairs landing. I immediately called the office and was told they would vacuum out it was from the raking. I vacuumed that night and nothing changed. I vacuumed the next day and the day after for a week straight and nothing changed. So I called back and they said they would send the owner out. He came out and said he didn't think anything was wrong, but he would send his crew back out to clean again with different machinery. They came back out and the after they left the lines were still there. I noticed that they used a different rake this time too. I called the company back and they owner said he would send out an independent carpet claim insurance guy to check out things. I was against this because he was hiring him but then said ok to the guy coming. The guy came and he brushed the carpet s different way didnt vacuum it just looked at it and put a black light on it that also showed visible staining. He concluded it was fine! It is not fine. The composition of the carpet has been ruined and I have the pictures to prove it. He said if it was brushed the other way the marks/lines go, again untrue. My carpets get vacuumed daily. The marks are still there. It looks like an old carpet not one that I just put down in May! 20+ years as a customer, how incredibly disappointing. Therefore I will be going to small claims court! I have more pictures and videos on my phone to show what the carpet looks like.

We went out and did the cleaning as stated. With the cleaning, the last thing we do is groom and rake the carpet. She called the next day and said her carpet is ruined and there are lines in the carpet. I, as the owner, asked to come out to take a look at it. There were lines in it. I offered to come back out and do a different method of cleaning. She agreed to it. We went out and recleaned and groomed the carpet with a different brush. The technician went out and said after the second cleaning was done it looked good. She contacted us the next day and said the lines are still there and she sent pictures and a video. She had a sample carpet from the store and laid it on top of the carpet. I offered to try to come back out there and she did not want that so I offered to hire an independent certified carpet inspector and if told her if he says the carpet is ruined we would take the appropriate steps to make it right. At first she stated she did not want to do that because we would be hiring the inspector and he would take our side. I told her we have no affiliation with an inspector. She later agreed. He went out there and did an inspection and said the carpet was in good shape and not ruined. He did trim a few pieces. She then responded saying she knew he was going to take our side and she should’ve never done that. Now she is being unreasonable and is stating she is going to take us to small claims court. I told her she can do whatever steps she feels she needs to do. I have been in the carpet business for many years. We did try to make it right and did what we could to resolve the issue.
