If it had not been for **** and his company, I never would have known that this money existed. He was very helpful and informative through the process. Answered questions promptly. I highly recommend him and his company to anyone who needs assistance in matters like mine. Sincerely, ***** ******

When I received the first notice about possible excess funds from Orchard, it was not the first time a company had contacted me. To be honest, I was starting to get a little annoyed because so many different companies kept sending me letters about my late fathers foreclosed properties. I kept ignoring them because I didnt think it would be worth the trouble, figured any portion of money would dwindle away quickly once any attorney or company got their fees or it could be a total scam. I honestly planned to just forget about it.Family members of mine started to get letters too, although not from Orchard. They started calling me and texting me pictures of the letters theyd received telling me that I should look into this money. I finally spoke to a friend who is an attorney and she explained that there are legitimate companies who specialize in finding and securing excess funds and that I shouldnt be alarmed or too skeptical to call. She instructed me to call the company who gave the most professional impression, as they likely had the most experience. Orchard was my top pick even though it had been over a month since I received their packet. For some reason, I kept it while throwing almost all of the others away. The packet of information that I received was sophisticated and expansive but not intimidating. There were pictures of previous clients and a handwritten note from ****, too. I also saw that Orchard was based locally and I preferred the idea of supporting a local business over a giant national chain. I spoke to two different companies on the phone and ultimately chose to work with Orchard because **** was so friendly, knowledgeable, professional and patient. I told him I was also talking with another company and he never tried to pressure or convince me to choose his company over theirs. I felt that he truly wanted me to make the most informed decision for me, regardless of who I chose to work with. My advice for the next person in my shoes is its ok and natural to be skeptical. Calling **** doesn't cost a cent but it could end in a payout of money you never planned to have.
