It's was about 2 months ago that I told the apartment complex about the bathroom wall being destroyed and left asbestos in my tub for a week now we have toxic wast in the tub and we cant take a bath in it we pay 775 in rent we have been nice and asked them to fix it but they won't come in and our *** animals are exposed and the pipes are lead pipes after the property manager told us they replaced them so we can't drink the water and thirs big holes and the back of our complex thier methane gas leaksInitial Complaint

I live in northern village apartments.The water has been ice cold for About a week. I contact it someone the other day to speak with them about it. Had a hard time getting an answer. And when I did it was an obvious lie. I was told someone would be by 2 evenings Ago to work on the furnace and no one has come by yet. We can't bathe or even wash our dishes with ice cold water.Business Response

Roaches in the fridge, roaches in the oven, roaches in the couch, roaches all over. They keep saying that people are supposed to come and spray, and this has been months. During this time, I have had to buy my own bug spray, and I have been given 50 dollars off, but that doesn**;t nearly cover it. They put up a now leasing up and charge 1000 dollars for 1 bed room apartments. I have been trying to communicate with the new management and they are not listening. My housing complex is threatening to tow cars away with no given reason on why and when we asked why can't we park in front of apartment building, they were not able to give us a valid reason on why we cannot park in front of our house anymore and we would like to know why. This is my apartment complex. They are trying to make me pay a late fee of 100 dollars if my rent is not paid by tomorrow 5/7/2024. I have the money to pay them but I do not feel it is appropriate due to the nature of my apartment that I have reported to them. I have reported that I have a mice infestation and it is a health hazard. I take care of my 9 year old cousin and she cannot be in the home due to the mice being a health hazard. One of them jumped from a hanger in my closet to folded clothes. I reported this over a month ago and the leasing company told me that they haven't been able to get a contract for the pest control. I was told today that they had a contract but it still wont be done for at least another 2 weeks. I also have a ***** infestation that I have worked vigorously to clear and the office still hasn't done anything to assist. We have also not had any hot water for over a week. On December 7 my kitchen sink has fill with sludge and sewer water. I**;ve called the office and 2 people came out on 2 different days and the issue still occur. The sewer water is flooding my kitchen and seeping into my hallway and living room. The stench of sewer is making my children and me sick. I**;m on section 8 and I do not have a car. Hi Goodmorning. I stay in Lucas hunt village with my 1 year old for a year now I will be breaking my lease early in April . In the beginning it was okay staying here but when my plumbing started acting up for the past 3 months now I let the office know ahead of time and put maintenance orders in but no one came to do anything.We have not been able to take a decent shower or bath because of them not doing the problem.My bath tub had been filled with garbage (ground beef,tomatoes,etc and a lot of sewage water . It has already overflowed on the floor and I told the office that no response.Me and my child has to boil water and take a bird bath in the hallway of the apartment . The bathroom smell is getting worse I could barley go in there and do anything cause the smell so strong . Lead is falling off the walls I have to sweep everyday to make sure my daughter doesnt get lead poisoning. An incident happened to were someone shot through my living room wall and window and no one had done anything about it not even the police. I also told the office about the flooding in the basement of the apartment and nothing as usual I have tried to reach out to the health department and the office multiple times no response. We are going to be evicted soon.No one obviously care about a childs health we have already both been sick from the sewage smell from the bathroom and down in the basement I would like to remain anonymous and just get my story heard please .I will live in a shelter with my child before I stay here. Still till this day on Tuesday December 12,2023 my bath tub is full of contaminated water that smells like sewage and it is very strong .
