My son and his mother were staying here and I signed off on the lease. They moved out and now the complex is charging us to change it out for 5000 for carpet damages, which we did not do. It was dirty when we first moved in to begin with.We have had issues with them for a long time now. Our clothes had mold and it was flooded in. They had bed bugs. We ended up filing with the attorney general and they did not respond to the ag. The quality of the apartment was dangerous, dirty and barely livable. Afterwards they started harassing us. After the last complaint we filed they gave us one day to vacate. They wouldn't take us to court so instead put it on our credit statement. When we left, we left the apartment spotless and cleaned. Now they charge us with this, which is an absurd amount. This is fraudulent this amount, and if need be I will take them to small claims court.Business Response

This apartment complex claims that its non smoking community. It mentioned in the advertisement and in the lease. Some residents smoke cigarettes and cannabis inside, on the balconies, and right outside the buildings. The hallways smell like a heavy smoke all the time and even worse on the weekends. Also smoke comes into apartments through the window and a/c vents. Its absolutely not appropriate for residents that dont smoke and moved in this complex because it was promised to be non smoking. Its a second hand smoke and its extremely harmful for residents health. I have contacted management about the issue many times with no response. Please help. Thank you.Business Response

I applied for an apartment on June 18, 2024. I had to paid 50 fee for application and $150 fee toward deposit. They advise me if my application wad decline then I would get my $150.00. I was suppose to receive my $150.00 within three days of my application being declined. As of Aug 13, 2024 I haven**;t receive my $150.00 and every time I call they continue extent the dates before I can receive my refund of $150.00.Customer Answer

On June 18 i applied for an apartment and was advised that I would pay a 50$ fee and a 150$ fee and if approved the 150$ fee would go towards deposit. If denied 150$ fee would be refunded within 3-5 days of being declined. It is now August the 13 and my 150$ was never refunded and every time I call they extend the refund period and say that there is no one for me to speak to. No manager, no corporate, no regional manager. Upon reading reviews of the company, I am not the first ****** they have done this to and not issued a refund.Initial Complaint

The apartment had flooded and all they did was **** the water up, the apartment now is full of mold. I hoping know one will have to go through this with these apartments.Now they are trying to over charge me for portions of the utilities since Im not renewing the leaseInitial Complaint

Starting in early August, our bathroom had been leaking. Once a month it would pour dirty soapy from the vent in the ceiling, coming from the people above us. On the 19th of November, it happened everyday or multiple times a day. We would submit maintenance requests and they would be marked as completed but no one would come. Not happy with the new apartment that I am renting. Things that were promised to me about things being in a specific condition. the apartment was dirty. I was promised that there would be limited noise and that is not true. I have been wronged by the complex by moving into a unit that was not livable or ready to move in. I would like for the complex to make it right for me and to not come out of my pocket more than I already have and to move me into a comparable apartment that is livable, clean, and repairs already made at no cost to me.Initial Complaint

I moved to this apartment complex on 6/1/23. At the time i signed the contract I was not informed that I am going to be charged for water, waste and sewer by a sq footage with bring my monthly bill to $120 which was not expected. I live in one bedroom appt alone. I was promised included storage space, but after i signed the lease I was told that I have to "rent" it for extra charge. My toilet is not flushing down waste most of the time. It takes 3 or 4 times to completely flush the f**** with them not coming back. I requested maintenance a number of times during the past month and a half, and nothing is still done. My fireplace is not working - nothing is done. I have some creature/rodent running around behind the walls, in the ceiling and all over for at least two and half weeks - nothing is done. The pest control charge is included in my lease and I am paying the fee every month. I contacted the management - they are incredibly rude and careless. They are remodeling units and exterior and dump all the constriction waste in the public dumpsters that I am paying for sq footage - they are overflowing all the time. I put in a request to rent a garage for &75 two months ago and I was told that they don't have any garages available because they needs to be repaired, but they BILLED me $75 since the day of the request. I still do not have a garage. They installed speed bumps a week or two ago and there is no warning signs and they are not marked for the drivers safety. Please help.Customer Answer
