My loan was transferred to SST from Marcus by Goldman Sachs. I paid the loan in full and received the following image attached. I was told it would take 30 days to report to the credit bureaus, this was in January, it is now April and it is still showing open. I called Goldman Sachs and they notified me that SST is their loan department and not a "different" company like I originally thought. When I called SST using the Goldman Sachs provided number, they said they had not updated it and were unsure of when they would. I asked for a timetable, she said she couldn't answer that question and no one could. I would like this loan to show as paid on my credit report, there is no reason for this to take over four months and then be told there is no timetable.

      Dear *** *******

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment
processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and
expeditious manner. SST does not purchase loans and has no ownership in these loans; it is merely the
      servicer.

We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:

      On January 28, 2022, ****** *********** signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** ****
(“the Contract”) financing $8,000.00. According to the Contract, *** *********** agreed to make 48
monthly payments of $206.72, beginning on March 1, 2022. On December 11, 2023, the Account was
assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing.

At the time of servicing transfer, the Account showed a balance of $4,718.30 and was due for the
January 1, 2024 payment. An AutoDraft payment was made with SST on January 1, 2024 for $206.72
and a WebPay payment of $4,558.77 was made on January 2, 2024. AutoDraft payments were
cancelled January 3, 2024 due to the payoff. Paid In Full letter was sent to *** *********** on January
      19, 2024. The Account shows Closed/Paid.

SST reports accurate information to the three main credit reporting agencies: *********** ********
and *******. SST was not credit reporting this Account at the instant the Account was paid. We have
sent updates to all three bureaus to ensure all are reporting the same. Please allow sufficient time for
the bureaus to update their records.

I had a loan with ****** ******* *****, I made 100% on time payments. I never had reporting or credit issues when they managed my loan. Out of the blue in December of 2023 all personal loans were sold to SST. There was a huge lack of communication and paperwork, a major failure by ****** and SST. I’ve made my payments 100% on time with SST and I have all documentation and screenshots of when payments were made with the dates as well as all banking information to support this. My credit score was affected by this change that was out of my control when it was closed and reopened with a new servicer. I then get a notification that my loan was closed with SST. Yet again, it reappeared on my credit as a new loan and tanked my credit score AGAIN. Weeks later I then get another notification, my payments are late and they’ve been reported as late payments. I’ve NEVER had a late payment to SST, it never happened. AGAIN, it tanked my credit with the false late payments. This continuous back-and-forth of changing my loans and dropping my credit score is unacceptable. The inaccurate reporting of payments is further unacceptable. This has now affected my credit drastically and they need to be held accountable. Not only do they need to correct this with all credit bureaus they owe people compensation for the credit scores that they have ruined. I shouldn’t have to contact credit, bureaus and beg for them to make this right. This is not on me. I’ve been responsible and made my payments. They have been incompetent at reporting correct payments. They continue to mess with peoples credit scores. This affects peoples lives.

I paid off my loan account with SST on March 1,2024. After waiting the allotted time to request for my saving be transferred to my back account, I have still not received my funds! I did speak with an agent ****** ***** at SST that stated SST did not mark my account paid until March 18,2024 and even though the system allowed me to request the funds on March 16,2024 I still would not receive the Friday March 21,2024 or Monday March 25,2024. My account was transferred from Goldman Sachs, a loan of $21,000. The account was paid down to about $5000 a few months ago, and I paid and closed the rest of account 10 days ago. Currently my credit report shows missed payments and a $10,000 Goldman Sachs and a $5000 SST account, so 3 times as much as the balance was 10 days ago and missed payments and duplicate accounts. I called SST and they said that the credit reporting company was wrong. Meanwhile I opened 3 disputes and SST told the credit reporting company that the information was correct, when it was not. My account is closed and I would not do business with a company like this. I was doing business with a reputable company, Goldman Sachs, not a company that is lying about me and besmirching my perfect credit report.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I just got off the phone with SST customer service and they agreed to resolve my issue, and they said I should check the data again by next Wednesday. However, this issue is still open, so I am rejecting the response received from *** ********* as it is not accurate.

As a result of my conversations with customer service and this complaint and other complaints, SST closed all the accounts labelled "SST" which were on my credit reports. This is correct. Now, I have no open SST accounts with a balance. However, the problem is not resolved.

As of today, my ******* credit report still reflected a 10,000 balance for ******** ***** ***** having been updated on March 8. This balance was inaccurate on that date. Additionally, it was a duplicate account. As I have explained before, which lowered my credit rating due to showing a balance of 15,000, when the true balance was 0 as of March 9. There would have been no issue had there not been this duplicate account with a wrong balance, also showing no payments since November, which shows up as a missed payment on Credit Karma. A 4,000 balance was accurate on March 8. 10,000 was not, and not two accounts.

I called customer service again and ***** and ******** said they will process this again for ******* ***** **** and make sure that the duplicate account was closed showing fully paid with a 0 balance.

However, I am rejecting this response due to the company having as of yet not resolved this issue but once again claiming that it did.

I should not have to request everything 10 times. Just fix the problem. You can tell me you fixed it when it's really fixed instead of continuously claiming you did nothing wrong or there is no problem or no issue.

No, there's a huge problem with your fraudulent credit reporting, so please ensure that it is truly resolved. I've never had this issue with Marcus by Goldman Sachs before my loan was transferred. And you claim I should "contact the original servicer" about that.

No, that's not accurate. They can't be contacted. They have no phone number or line for this. They say to contact you. Which I did, and your customer service people said they are going to fix it. Thus making your response, incorrect.

      Sincerely,

And don’t want to keep putting into the savings acct. I don’t owe them, the loan is paid with interest. And now they are charging me interest on the savings acct I don’t want. I sure my agreement with SeedFi said about the savings acct. but I don’t want it they have been paid back! Now there’s $90 in interest on a savings acct I don’t want. This is a scam to make money on the savings acct. interest!!!! They told me oh just pay it in n then will give it back WHAT!!! Contract”) financing $35,000.00. According to the Contract, *** **** agreed to make 36 monthly
payments of $1,129.18, beginning on January 7, 2023. On December 11, 2023, the Account was
assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing.

At the time of servicing transfer, the Account had a balance of $22,303.20 and was due for the January
7, 2024 payment. Payments made with SST since the transfer are:

Date Payment Received Amount of Payment Type of Payment
      1/7/24 $******** AutoDraft
      3/7/24 $******** AutoDraft

Due to misinformation received during the transfer, some of the ******* payments were not reflected.
This issue was corrected by changing the due date. All payments received by SST have been properly
applied and the Account shows current and due for the April 7, 2024 payment of $1,129.18. SST is
unable to provide a payment history from the prior servicer. On March 1, 2024, *** **** was emailed
      copies of statements she requested.

I had a loan from ****** ** ******* ***** that was sold off to SST. I received an email from ********** today 3/12/2024, that in November of 2023, SST paid off the loan (to themselves) and there is a $0. balance. My credit has now taken another hit, showing a closed account to SST on February 18, 2022, and a second report on November 30, 2023, of a closed SST account with a $0. balance. Yet I am being billed by SST for my ****** ** ******* ***** loan amount of $410.33 per month. I do not understand as the reported information to the three credit bureaus shows the account in question was closed in BOTH February of 2022 and again in November of 2023. This negatively affected my credit score TWICE with TRANSUNION and will likely affect my ******* and ******** credit reports next. Lastly, the debt is NOT at $0. balance if SST currently bills me $410.33 per month!! SST should do better and must remain mindful and honest in reporting to credit bureaus as this impacts consumers heavily.

      Please see attached response.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment
processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and
expeditious manner. Please know that SST has no ownership in this Account and does not purchase
loans; it is merely the servicer.

We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:

      On April 4, 2022, ****** ***** signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** loan (“the
Contract”) financing $20,000.00. According to the Contract, *** ***** agreed to make 60 monthly
payments of $410.23, beginning on May 20, 2022.

On December 11, 2023, the Account was assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”)
for servicing. The terms of the Contract remain the same. SST had no involvement with any *******
      accounts prior to the transfer.

At the time of servicing transfer, the Account had a balance of $13,245.34 and due for the December
20, 2023 payment. Four Autodraft payments have been made with SST since the transfer.

All payments have been applied and the Account shows current and due for the April 20, 2024
      payment of $410.23.

The information *** ***** shared does not show the full tradeline names and account numbers.
Without that information it is difficult to provide a response. There are multiple possible explanations.
SST is the servicer for multiple different financial services providers. It is possible SST previously
serviced a different loan which was closed in 2022. Another possibility is due to the transfer of
servicing, she may see on her credit report the closing of the Goldman tradeline and a new tradeline for
SST. The Goldman tradeline will show a zero balance as they no longer service the Account. The
SST tradeline will reflect the remaining loan balance. The transfer itself should not cause any negative
      marks in the reporting.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: on my credit report it shows two closed accounts. Yes,  I did have another account that was closed in 2018 but on my credit report it does not show that it was closed by ******* *****, it shows that it was closed by SST! Thus, yet again, according to SST's response statement, it should not be showing SST it should be showing as Goldman Sachs closed that account in 2018. However, it does not. Lastly, on the second account the one that is open that I borrowed the $20,000 on, yes that one still has a balance so why is it reported zero balance closed on my credit report? If SST's response is that I'm curently paying on that account and it's active, why is it reported on my 3 credit bureau's accounts?  Nothing in the SST response makes sense and it contradicts itself. I  want my credit report fixed to represent FACTS not SST mistakes!!!

      Sincerely,

      ****** *****

I paid off my borrow and grow loan that was originally with ******* but was transferred to SST at the end of 2022. The account was paid off today 3/7/24. I have approximately $2000 sitting in a savings account that is supposed to be returned to me. The original contract with ****** said the savings would be available immediately after the balance was paid in full. SST is stating it can take 22 business days to receive my savings, which is a violation of the original contract I signed. How can it take 15 business days to close an account and another 5 business days to issue a refund? They've violated my original contract and I want the $2000 that is owed to me. They say this cannot be expedited, but that cannot be true.

I am rejecting this response because:
15 days to clear a payment is absurd. It's already cleared my bank. This company is very shady in their practices. When I called to find out why it would take almost a month to receive my funds, I was told they had no reason why, that's just the way it is. That is unacceptable.
      Sincerely,
