      Do not hire Omni Investigation, **** owner ****************************** which appears not to be LICENSED or INSURED in ******** by the *********** of ******* Investigator. On February 3, 2023 I met with Omni Investigation Inc. owner ****************************** about performing a private investigation criminal defense case for false charges from my neighbors. *** requested a $5,000 retainer to take the case so I paid her the retainer and she issued me a paid receipt # ****** for $5,000. She told me the money would be held in an escrow account and that she would send me a link to upload my files to a server on February 1. I told her I needed a more official looking receipt and a written contract on company letterhead defining the scope of the case, so she said she would send it to me on February 9th, but she never did. I never uploaded any files and Omni Investigation never performed any ** work because the prosecuting attorney offered me a plea deal several months later. I notified *** in May 2023 that the ** case would not move forward and that I wanted my escrow money refunded. *** has not refunded my $5,000 retainer despite numerous requests. She said she would mail me my refund check on October 17, 2023, but never did. She appears to have deleted all emails she had sent me in an attempt to conceal her communications with me which is a big RED FLAG.
