    Radiologic Imaging Consultants LLP (RIC), a private practice physician group, are the exclusive provider of diagnostic and interventional radiology services to SSM Health facilities throughout *****************,*********  Our main SSM Healthcare locations are as follows:

    SSM **************************************** and Campus Outpatient Center

    Recently, ****** ****** had a radiology service at a SSM Health location. *** ***** for the radiologist to read the x-ray and SSM will bill a technical fee to take the x-ray.  When a patient owes a balance on an account with RIC, they will receive one text message notifying them that they have a balance due. Within the text message is a link to view and pay their bill.   If the balance is not paid, then the patient will receive a second text message a week later and a hard copy statement the third week.

    Never received bills in the amount which is now being attempted to be collected by a debt collector. If you read the ****** reviews for this place, everyone says the same thing happened to them. They have my address correct and nothing was ever received and now I'm getting emails from a debt collector.

    Radiologic Imaging Consultants LLP (RIC) rendered radiology services to **** ******* on April 18, 2024.  ************* was billed and applied a portion of the charges to her annual deductible.  *** sent **** ******* two emailed statements, the first on May 10, 2024 and the second on June 7, 2024.  RIC's protocol for sending patient statements at that time was to send an email first and then four days later send a hard copy of the statement.  **** ******* opted out of receiving hard copy statements on January 9, 2023 per our statement company so she only received two emailed statements for her April 18, 2024 services.  **** ********* outstanding balance with *** was referred to a collection agency on September 3, 2024.  The credit reporting agencies (**********, *******, and ********) recently announced some changes to credit reporting medical accounts.  Any medical account under $500 will not be reported to the credit reporting agencies.  This would apply to **** ********* balance.  RIC no longer sends emailed statements to patients as of August 2024, patients receive text messages and hard copy statements.  We will send **** ******* a hard copy statement today and contact the collection agency to close her account.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.  Please contact our billing office at ************ - M - F - 8 am - 4 pm and we would be happy to assist Ms. ******* with any questions/concerns she has regarding her account.  Thank you.
