plumber replaced a kitchen faucet but it continues to drip.. When I complained he stated he would have to contact Delta the manufacturer and we would just have to wait to hear from them. Meanwhile the faucet continues to drip and our water bill is increasing

We originally went there to install a leaking kitchen spray hose that they had provided. They had attempted to fix it themselves and it was in pieces with the water off to the faucet. The new spray worked after installation but the diverter in their faucet was bad as well. We provided and installed a new Delta faucet at substantial discount to appease them. The plumbing technician tested the water pressure on the last visit yesterday and found that they had 122 psi. Normal operating pressure is 60 - 80 psi. 122psi is extremely high and dangerous to fixtures and hoses. The building code requires that all pressure over 80 psi be reduced. Customers insisted their water pressure is fine and refused to accept an estimate.  Attached is the spec sheet for the faucet showing the allowable pressure range. At 122 psi ice maker filters start to burst, faucets begin to drip and toilet fill valves begin to wear out prematurely. Until the pressure is brought into the legal limits they will continue to have plumbing fixture problems.

The dripping faucet isn't the problem. It is a symptom of the actual problem which is excessive water pressure.

We hired Hosack Plumbing to repair a drain for the washing machine. They did the repair and we paid them $4,000 on 7/19/2023. 2 days later the floor drain backed up again. They referred me to *********************** to install a liner in the line and they found that the original work that ***** did was not done right so Hosack had to come back to redo their work before the liner could be installed. Hosack did the repair incorrectly and ********* men had to redo all of ******* work. That work was completed 8/15/2023 and we did not receive a bill from Mat ******* until 12/11/2023 for $9,850. Since all of Hosack's work had to be replaced I called ***************************** at Hosack on 12/18/2023 to request a refund and he said he never heard of that before but he'd talk to the boss. I have not heard back from him since then. Hosack's men did sub-standard, sloppy work and their concrete work was crumbling and uneven. They left a mess. We are extremely unhappy with their work and will not be happy with anything less than a full refund of the $4,000 that we paid them.

I spoke with the consumer and he wanted $4000. I offered to give him $3000 and he agreed with it.
