This "Final Notice" arrived in my mail on July 23, 2025. It says "our records indicate that you have not CALLED US YET." I laugh. I have never done business with these people, the name of which is difficult to find, but there it is at the bottom in very tiny letters -- Superior Home Protection.I've owned my home since 1988. It's been paid for for a looonnng time. I have no mortgage, warranty, or any other word they can come up with. Misleading language, false association, confusing content, scare tactics, deceptive practices. They tick all those. I really hate people who try to scam others. They need to get a real job.I tried calling the number so I could yell at them, but it's too late in the evening. I'll do it tomorrow.I looked this up online and it said to contact the Better Business Bureau, so I am.Business Response

I received a letter in the mail telling me that my home warranty has expired and that the company was provided by my mortgage lender to renew warranty services before July 8th 2025. I called believing I was renewing a warranty that was provided by my mortgage lender. I contacted my mortgage lender and they stated that they are not affiliated with the business. I then contacted the business to cancel the policy and they hang up or they place me on hold indefinitely. I just want to cancel policy.Business Response
Date: 07/14/2025
Thank you for your feedback. Were sorry for any confusion the notice may have caused and appreciate the opportunity to clarify.
Per your request, your coverage was canceled the same day it was activated, and as a result, the policy was voided in full. The initial investment of $295.00 was also voided on July 8, 2025, and will be released by your financial institution as it clears from pending status.
We appreciate you reaching out and have also removed your information from our mailing list to ensure no further communications from our company.
Sincerely,

I recently bought a house and have received several very official looking notices from this company called Superior Home Protection. In the process of moving and all of the changes going on with purchasing a new home, this company is taking advantage and almost fooled me into calling to send them money. This is unethical and this company should not be allowed to falsely advertise like this.Business Response

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion or concern our mailings may have caused during your move.
This appears to have been an error in processing with our marketing letters, which resulted in two letters being sent rather than one. This issue has since been corrected. We have also removed your information from our mailing list, and you will not receive any further notices from our office.
Were truly sorry again for the inconvenience and frustration this caused.

I received an unsolicited piece of junk mail from Superior Home Protection... one of those "Final Notice" things that looks like it's from your mortgage company, but it's only trying to sell you a home warranty. I am part of the OptOutPrescreen on junk mail and I still received this.Business Response

Received the following sham letter: Final Notice allegedly from my bank giving me a date by which Im to contact them to avoid home warranty cancellation. I called and asked if they were with my bank and she said they were a third party vendor.Business Response

Superior Home Protection is an independent company that offers optional home warranty coverage. The letter you received was part of a general marketing campaign and was not sent by your bank. While our mailers may reference publicly available mortgage information to personalize offers, we are not affiliated with any mortgage lender.
We understand how this may have caused confusion, and we are currently reviewing the language in our materials to ensure it is clear and transparent. As requested, we have removed your information from our mailing list to prevent any further communications from our company.

In June 2025, I received a letter in the mail marked as a Final Notice Immediate Response Required, Secured By ******************, which is the company with my home loan. Nowhere on the letter is the name of the company who sent the letter, Superior Home Protection. The letter is deceptive, indicating that my home warranty is going to lapse. The sales person who I spoke with to collect information / do my research was trying his darndest to collect $4,757 from me over the phone. He kept referencing that he can only offer an inspection waiver on this very phone call. After asking which company he is speaking on behalf of, I realized it was a scam / deception.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
Superior Home Protection offers optional home warranty coverage through direct mail marketing. The letter you received was part of a general marketing campaign intended to inform homeowners that coverage may be available. While public information such as mortgage providers may be referenced to personalize these offers, we understand how this can be misinterpreted and are reviewing the language used to ensure it is clear and not misleading.
We regret that your conversation with one of our representatives did not meet your expectations. While we may offer inspection waivers or discounts during the enrollment process, customers are never obligated to proceed, and we support every customers right to fully understand whats being offered.
Based on your feedback, we have removed your information from our mailing list to ensure no further communications are sent from our company.
