    Servpro was called by my insurance company after I had a water leak in my basement. Oakville, Missouri Servpro arrived. State Farm paid the $2500 I think. This happened on June 3, 2023. My first complaint went out to my insurance June 20, 2023. More info below. ServPro was supposed to dry my basement out but the did not dry it out completely and I ended up with mold in my basement.

    ServPro is without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. After a small fire in my apartment, my insurer, The Hartford, chose them for restoration. The man in charge, *********************, was a true salesman: all hail-fellow-well-met at the beginning, utterly unreasonable by the end. In storing and cleaning my possessions, ServPro managed to break two lamps (delicate, but they should have been salvageable) and to crack the top of one of my dressers. But that's not the worst! They also lost ALL the contents of my two dressers and small chest, my shower curtain and shower curtain liner, and one of my blankets. Their response: To insist that the culprit was a company they subcontract "textiles" out to called BIG Contents. Unfortunately for this argument, BIG Contents has evidence that they returned the missing items to ServPro two months before the restoration was finished. ServPro's response: "We didn't do it, we didn't do it, we didn't do it." Uh, yes you did. I have never dealt with a company with so little pride in its work and no sense of responsibility for its actions. Fortunately, they were willing to cough up a small amount as payment for replacements, but only because the Hartford adjuster was willing to deal with them. If you have any choice, go with anyone but Servpro in like circumstances.
