In April 2022, Better Business Bureau questioned Automotive Circuit Solutions' website, www.automotivecircuitsolutions.com, which stated, “100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED” and, “We stand behind our work by offering a lifetime warranty on most of our services and repairs.”
BBB’s Code of Advertising standards states, “Advertisers should only use ‘satisfaction guarantee,’ ‘money back guarantee,’ ‘free trial offer,’ or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer’s request.” In addition, “When advertising ‘lifetime’ warranties or guarantees or similar representations, the advertisement must clearly and conspicuously disclose its intended meaning of the term ‘lifetime’.”
BBB requested the business substantiate, modify, or discontinue the claims made on its website. The company did not respond to BBB’s request.
