    In March of 2022 my husband and I purchased a $400 boarding 10 day pass for our dog. Upon purchasing this pass the employee who sold it to us indicated that it could be used “as needed” and did not identify an expiration date for the use of this package. Today, July 8th, 2023, we contacted the business to inquire about our remaining three days worth $120 that we had left and were informed that these had expired and were no longer available for use. I spoke with the manager explaining what we had been informed about regarding the passes we purchased and requested that the amount be refunded or that we be compensated in some way as we had been told by an employee that these passes would be available for whenever we decided to use them. The manager identified that it was our responsibility to look up this information on their website where it indicated (at the time) that there was a year expiration policy in place. The website has since been changed so we have no way to confirm that this information was in fact available. I identified that it seemed like the businesses responsibility to properly inform and train their employees to give accurate information to customers. The business refused any type of refund or compensation.
