I recently purchased a transmission from them. The item description stated at 90,000 miles. It took approximately two weeks before I was able to get in contact with someone to get information on why item hadn’t shipped when I was informed that thetransmission I purchased was no longer available so they offered me one with 120,000 miles with no adjustment on price. I had waited so long that I agreed to take second choice transmission just for it to finally arrive damaged and then to top it off, they charged me for sending them their damaged product back. I wish I would’ve checked the reviews before I use this website I would never recommend or purchase from them again, completely unprofessional and shady practices!!!Initial Complaint

I ordered a 6 lug 10 bolt 2001 chevy silverado 1500 3.73 rear axle for my truck from allusedparts for a total of 1058$. They knowingly sent me a 8 lug 14 bolt chevy silverado 2500 rear axle and are claiming that they sent me the right part due to the gear ratio. And are claiming I am in the wrong for being upset when the part will not work and is not what I ordered. The company said and I quote. "It is a compatible rear end. Deal with it" and me as the customer i want what I ordered so I am able to drive my vehicle without destroying it due to them sending me a wrong part. I no longer want or require the part. They shipped it knowing it was wrong. I just want them to take the rear end and refund me the money I've spent. This is ridiculous.Customer Answer

It has been over three weeks I've been trying to get helped and have been pushed around the entire time and told I'm wrong when they knowingly sent the wrong part. I just want it taken and a refund issued. I can even take it to them. If need be. But a full refund should be issued.Initial Complaint

On 8/14/24 I ordered a rear end for my 2008 jeep liberty. This company is the only one I could find that could get their hands on the rare 3.21 gear ratio I need. It cost me $498 (including shipping). When I got it, all the mounting brackets were wrong. I looked at the tags. It's for a 2007 (different style). I understand, mistakes happen. I called for an exchange. They told me the one they sent was correct (it wasn't), they needed picture proof that it was wrong, and another one is $400 MORE. I decided to just return the original wrong one. Took the pictures they wanted. It still wasn't good enough. They've been toying with me about this over a month now. Currently, they're saying it's been over 30 days (it has a one year warranty, it's 9/17/24 as I write this) so the best they'll do is a $228 refund and they want me to deliver it to them. I would settle for one of two outcomes. First, they come take their rear end and give me a full refund of $498. Second, fix their mistake, swap the wrong one with the right one for the original agreed upon amount.Initial Complaint

I ordered a subframe for 2003 Honda Accord EX 4-cylinder USA built from Allusedparts.com on 03/03/2024. I received it 03/07/2024 by R&L Carrier. I used ****** to finance the cost and approved and they paid on 03/05/24 in full. I checked the part and could not install due to being damaged. I tried calling and emailing all within the warranty period. The company ignored all attempts to obtain a replacement subframe. If they couldn’t replace I needed them to refund so I would not have to make monthly payments for the loan. ****** needed Allusedparts.com to provide me or them proof of refund so the loan could be closed. All of my attempts were ignored and this is not good customer service. To date I have not been contacted and I am making payments for a damaged part they sent me.Initial Complaint

I brought a transmission from this place on February 22,2024. It got installed about 2 weeks later. Well the transmission went out about 2 weeks of driving it. I contacted them and even gave pictures of the reading from auto zone with the date stamped. They won’t refund my money as stated in the warranty until I got to a mechanic shop to get a diagnosis and they can talk to them, but the thing is I would have to pay for all that. I don’t have the cost and it would cost more in labor fees to do all that than what the transmission cost ($1,200). I even explained that to them through email but they don’t care. This place is a scam taking money for parts and sending out bad parts and then won’t help/return the item for a refund.Initial Complaint

I had bought a transmission from this company. After having to warranty the transmission I bought. I finally was able to get the transmission in and got my car back. Within 100 miles the transmission failed. Took it to Nissan of Montgomery and they found the transmission had a pre existing P17F1 on the tcm. So I got in contact with the warranty company of allusedparts, they denied my claim and need the programming data from the transmission. After getting in contact with Nissan stated that this data is impossible to get. In the bulletin for the transmission it is nowhere mentioned that the programming data will be needed. The transmission was programmed and I have my mechanic willing to explain it wasInitial Complaint

I purchased a transmission on 8/4/22 with a 1 year warranty. Order # ********* for my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Paid the mechanic to take out the old transmission and replace it with the one I purchased from allusedparts.com. It was driven approximately 4.5 miles from the shop to my apartment when I realized the transmission was no good and would not shift correctly from 1st to 2nd gear. I contacted customer service immediately. I sent in the receipts for the fluid, new seals etc. as well as had the mechanic follow up with the company as requested. I have been trying to contact customer service weekly since then by phone and email and cannot get anyone to answer or respond.Business Response

The consumer does have a warranty. They need to call and press option 3 for the warranty and start a warranty claim. The order number provided in the complaint is not correct so that may be why she's having trouble getting assistance. It is an "I" between the two 4s - not the number one.
