      Property manager ****** agreed to refund my deposit for 99.00. Each time I email or call I get a different answer it has been a month.

      i was forced out of my apartment at ****** ***** ****, i was NOT given notice to vacate or notice relieving me of lease , they notified housing auth and my healthcare worker, i wad never notified personnally by letter, email, anything, that is against the law ! They used movers that trashed some of my personnal belongings, ripped out plug on tv to attach anntenna, i cant get local tv(tv $500) vase both my parents ashes where in (priceless) various glasses, plates and glass picture frames (100$), everything was wrapped and boxed, they throw my stuff around like trash, i am seekung replacement

      no i was not court evicted, i was informed by healthcare worker and housing auth cade mgr, ****** ***** never verbaly email or in written to me personally i had to move

      They hired a management company while they all sit in the office nothing is being fixed garbage everywhere black mold from leaks kids destroying the property it’s bad i will supply photos when i take to general attorney office it has gotten so much worse over 2 months this management company took over smells like cat piss in the front door way seeping into my apartment i can’t live this way! It’s inhumane

      We moved into Highlands at Piper Townhomes in Kansas City, KS in June of 2019. Our security deposit was for $500. We moved out on February 28th, 2023 and I performed the walkthrough with ****** *** on that date. Per Kansas Tenant Law they have 30 days to deliver in righting any expenses that occurred and any balance or refund. We did not receive anything from them within that 30 days. I emailed them on April 6th with no response. When I called both ****** *** ****** (receptionist) could not give me any answers. After those calls they did not answer anymore of my calls and did not return any voicemails I left. On April 18th I showed up to the leasing office in person to get answers. ****** *** claimed they mailed me my refund check and list of expenses on March 5th but did not show any proof of this being mailed. She then offered to cut me a new check. The check should've been for the full security deposit ($500) per ****** ******** ******* *** ******* *******. The check sent to me was for $340, but should have been for 1.5 times the initial security deposit. "(c) If the landlord fails to comply with subsection (b) of this section, the tenant may recover that portion of the security deposit due together with damages in an amount equal to 1?1/2 the amount wrongfully withheld." I am asking for them to refund the appropriate amount owed.

      My lease was renewed at the end of 8/2022. On 9/2/22, I notified the office of added charges to my account for renters insurance and renters admin fee. I was told by **** to send over my insurance information, which I did at 3:30 PM 9/2/22. Due to the issue not being corrected, I paid the full amount listed on my tenant page so as not to incur late fees. Come October, the issue still has not been corrected nor had I been reimbursed for the false charges. Further communication took place 9/28/22 and 10/4/22 with ******* *****, with my insurance agent finally calling and emailing the office 10/4/22 to clear up their mistake. As of today, 11/1/22, the charges are STILL on my account. I emailed the property, then called Axiom to follow up so I could pay my rent when it is due 11/1/22. I received a call back from an incredibly rude employee, ***** *****, who told me she had refunded me already. I informed her the charges were still on my account for the November charges. I sent her a screen shot of what I was seeing. I was then told that “the charges are there but the account hasn’t been charged”. I asked for clarification as rent is due today. I was told that ******* ***** would not be doing adjustments today, 11/1/22, when rent is due, since she is off. I asked if anyone else was able to correct their mistake so I could ensure my rent was paid on it’s due date, as I do every month. ***** proceeded to make multiple unprofessional comments, including “it sounds to me like you have a problem with someone having a day off”. ***** then informed me she had me on speaker so someone else could listen in. When I said great, thank you for letting me know, is it your boss? She said no. I then asked for the name of who else was present for the call and the property she was calling from. ***** refused to provide the information. I then asked for her boss's name and contact information. She again refused to provide details. What a horrible, unprofessional, disrespectful experience.
