Unity City Lofts or KC Loft space is one of the most poorly managed apartment complexes in the downtown *********** area... They oversee a number of different buildings and units, but are totally understaffed in every staffing position. From maintenance to leasing to security all the way down to the non existent emergency number to contact during off hours... Having stayed in a few different complexes downtown, I can't believe the drop in quality from a $1600 rent payment in the crossoroads compared to $1400 here. I would steer clear of this place for many reasons, one of the biggest ones being everything is broken! Old elevator, old garage door and they will remind you that you accepted an old building. However I was unaware I accepted residency into an old building where the owners only fix things to increase their profit.. aka all the money being used to improve the rental units but not the 18 year old garage door. They also told me I had old windows thats why they were leaking air (and then fixed them easily within a few days)... Lots of NEW, UPDATED and resident friendly places in town. This is hardly one of them.... Their rating of an A- is laughable
