    I have asked the company to come make repairs to my apartment that I think is necessary. My bathroom has mold in the shower where they just sealed it up. The floor is bubbling up due to water damage and they came and stated that there is no mold underneath. I can also hear birds and squirrels running around above because dryer vent is not covered. I have waited for over a month for them to put in a new shower head in my hall bathroom and also a call back from them, which I still have not received. The property is just not up to par and things are following all over the complex. I have told them about my complaint and they said everything is fine and close my case.

    Every single year when it snows, Coach House Apartments refuse to clear our parking lots and put down anti-icing solutions, which make the parking lots completely unusable and unsafe. Their version of “clearing the parking lot” is giving two or three maintenance employees hand shovels and making them spend all day shoveling the snow (leaving the ice behind, because humans shouldn’t be expected to shovel up AN ENTIRE PARKING LOT OF ICE by themselves). Instead, they should be using their outrageous profits to hire experienced crew and supply them with the proper equipment to get the job done safely and efficiently. My husband is a disabled veteran, and not being able to safely navigate the parking lot or park anywhere near our residence is offensive. I’m also deeply concerned for the elderly residents of my apartment that I see trying to navigate the slippery ice rink that is our parking lot, as I’m just waiting for one of them to fall and severely injure themselves, or get stuck in a drift. This complete disregard of human beings, let alone PAYING RESIDENTS, is monstrous and unacceptable… When I called to request that Coach House send a crew out to deal with the snow and ice making it nearly impossible to walk or drive, I was told that it was MY fault for having so much snow in my parking spot, and was then HUNG UP on. Why are they getting away with treating us like this?

    I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and concern regarding the deplorable living conditions at my apartment, and I seek your assistance in resolving these pressing issues. My washing machine has been dysfunctional for approximately a week, with stagnant water inside, resulting in a putrid smell that renders the apartment uninhabitable for me and my child.

    Despite numerous complaints, the property manager has demonstrated an unprofessional attitude and has failed to take any effective measures to address these crucial problems. The lack of responsiveness and disregard for tenant well-being is not only disappointing but also unacceptable. Moreover, the office staff exhibits a concerning lack of knowledge and professionalism, further exacerbating the severity of this situation.

    This experience has been the worst I have ever endured as a tenant, and I implore the Better Business Bureau to intervene and compel the necessary actions to rectify these issues promptly. I am seeking immediate resolution to restore the basic living conditions that I am entitled to as a tenant. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

    Moved out 20th of April. But I have never been refunded my security deposit. Every time I go their office they give me new dates to when is my checking arriving.

    I am a current resident at Coach House Apartments in Kansas City Missouri. Around October of 2022, not sure of the exact date, I notified Coach House that my in-unit washing machine was broken and had leaked across the carpeted floor. They assured me they would have someone out and try to get the issue resolved. Someone came out, damaged my walls around the machine, and unplugged the machine from the wall. I plugged in the washing machine to see what had been done and nothing worked. I contacted Coach House maintenance the next day to see what was being done to fix the machine. A woman told me she saw the ticket for repair but did not know what had been done, she then told me she would get ahold of a maintenance member, and call me back with an answer to my questions. I got no call and was not contacted back. I work six days a week with a very long schedule so I let it slide believing they were doing all they can to fix it. Now it is January 5th and I am still without a working washing machine. I contacted Coach House maintenance again on Wed. January 4th and got the same answers with a promise to have a new machine brought to me on the 5th of January. I arrived home on the 5th of January and nothing had been done. Everything was still in place and had no sign anyone was in the apartment to fix the machine or replace it. This has not been the first time Coach House maintenance has made a promise and not delivered, In the fall of 2021 I had an issue with my air conditioning. Maintenance came to fix it and was unable to get it fixed. They assured me they could get me a window unit and replace the unit as soon as they could. I was then left without air conditioning for 7 months being told, "Well, luckily the weather is getting cooler so you won't need air on for much longer." That issue was finally resolved in May of 2022 after several calls and several 80 and above temperature days. I don't like to complain and feel like I am a reasonable person but this is ridiculous

    The business will not be working on the air conditioning in the winter, this will be scheduled at a later date (Spring).

    The washing machine was completed January 12th.
