    I contracted this company about approximately a month ago to do some repair maintenance on my rental property house. I approved their bid but along the way there were discrepancies. It was not a disciplined plan on their part. I was dealing with one woman and the secretary and she was the point of contact to get the estimate. They did not finish the job. They don't want to refund me my money for a consignment. I purchased a few pieces of furniture and they were supposed to deliver it to me. Then they changed their plan. I said ok then I will have to cancel the purchase, give me my refund. They refused.
    I have been subjected to abusive conduct by the woman and the main principle manager - explosive behavior, profanity. I said I won't have any more of this. The contractor is a nice man and just wants to do the job for me. I said at this point, I can not do business with this company. They are very abusive and disrespectful. The work they did is incomplete. I am on a spending plan and cannot commit to a high price for this.

    I want to negotiate and resolve this amicably, not aggressively. I would like a refund.

    She contacted us and we gave her a bid and she said it was too high.  She hired someone else.  They messed up the job so she called us back to get a bid on fixing the mess the other company made as well as additional repairs.  She didn't like the original bid, it was too high, so we adjusted the price by several hundred dollars to accommodate her.  We were then asked after completing this work when she arrived on site and she asked us about a price for delivering furniture that was bought from a separate business.  She thought that the $500 for delivering a complete living room set, 5 hours away to Hot Springs, AR was too much and told me it should have been $100-$200.  When I tried to explain to her the price of fuel and things like that, she proceeded to scream at me and my business partner was a witness.  Instead of arguing with her, I chose to walk out of the house.  When I walked out of the house, she continued to scream at me and told me to get off her property.  I then left and my business partner and I decided to no longer complete the work that was not finished.  We adjusted the final invoice to only include the work that was completed.  We do have before and after pictures of the work.  The amount due for the final invoice that will be incurring $2 late fees per day is $217.45 and the property manager knows it too.  She has already accrued 4 days of late fees.

    I am rejecting this response because:



    The work had to be terminated due to verbal and psychological assault, as well as mistreatment of the Senior client, by the business. This resulted in incomplete work, having had to retain new company to complete the unfinished work of the PPI. Additional cost assumed as a result. The company must refund the furniture purchased from them, that did not keep their word to deliver them at a reasonable price, within my financial strength.

    I never assaulted her I just walked away. 

    The invoice sent by People plus Industries was revised to only include the finished work and before and after pictures are available to prove this. 

    We did not complete the work that she was not charged for but only the initially BID because she told me to get off her property and I was unable to complete the work

    People Plus Industries is a general maintenance company and does not sell furniture.

    The furniture **** ****** purchased from the location we are located at not owned by People Plus Industries but is a separate business entity owned by a different individual.

    That individual company is **** ****** **** **** ********* *** **** which is not the same company.

    I as an owner of the company decided to reach out for an additional quotes from companies in the Joplin area for the delivery of the furniture from Joplin MO to Hot Springs AR

    Both quotes were from ****** ******** ****** for 1350 dollars and * **** ****** ******** for 900 dollars. 

    Therefore my BID at 518 dollars is not unreasonable. 

    The amount owed to People plus industries from **** ****** for the work done at *** **** ****** ** ****** ** is now 232.67 dollars and will continue to incur 2 dollar late fee until paid in full

    She is the one harassing me. I want to be paid for the work I completed.
