My kids father cosigned for a car from them, he took the vehicle and took off the *** on the vehicle. I have possession of it and don&#**;t know where it&#**;s at. I would like to get my name off the contract or to return the vehicle.

Thank you for writing into the BBB.org about your concern.

Even before the complaint we where working through the process to get Mrs ***** name off of the title and the contract with the lien holder. However, it does take both parties signatures etc. to compete the task with the lien holder to recontract, and the **** State of Missouri to drop someones name off of a title.

If you have any further questions. Please feel free to contact ************

    Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because:
This has been an ongoing frustration for months. Clear communication was not always given and I feel like Ive been getting the run around. I will be satisfied when actions are matched with whats being told.

    Sincerely,

This is a self inflicted situation unfortunatly and the fix or cure is in your hands not ours.

The only way your name can get removed from the title of the vehcile you bought with your partner at that time is to go with him to the local DMV and you both have to sign off on the back of the title; so the *** can mail in a new title. I can not sign your name for your.

We never removed the *** we did have your partner bring the vehcile back in to put a fuctioning one on the vehicle you both legally purchased.

Technically by contract we do not have to amend anthing based on the contracts you and your past partner signed together.

However, we are doing what we can to help seperate the asset you and your partner both purchased.

This is my last reply to the BBB emails. Simply the ball is in your cort and this is not going to fix it no matter how many times you reply back to them.

So simply follow the directions **** and our title clerk have verbally provided you.

    Thank you

First they sold us a truck that wouldn’t pass emissions and then couldn’t fix to get it legal. They then got a different truck they said passed inspection after it was inspected somewhere else with over 50% more play than allowed. They argued with that shop and were screaming and being rude to them. They said they would give us down payment back and take truck back by paying the bank back. They said would take 48 hours and They have had the truck for over a week and haven’t paid it back.

Thank you *****s for taking time out of your day to write into the BBB as well about your husbands truck purchase.

To clear up some misconceptions on inspections; The first vehicle that we sold **** ** ********* passed **** ****** inspections. However, Cape Girardeau County does not require emissions test its residents vehicles have to pass. It is bassed on the County the person lives in if it is required or not. So First Auto Credit did unwind the first purchase quick enough before the Financial institution funded the vehicle and unwound the information to the State Level.

The second vehicle that **** *. (Husband) selected also passed Cape Girardeau Counties inspection. However, as we have all experienced every inspection shop is looking for more work to do to vehicles then just an inspections. The shop **** *. (Husband) took the vehicle to for emissons also found, in their opinion, a ball joint that should be replaced to make it pass inspections. First Auto Credit also, covered the $952.83 to ********* ******** ********** to insure the vehicle passed there state inspections. Unfortunatly **** *. and ****** * (now wife) where not satistifed with the amount of time Christian Brothers was taking to make the repair and wanted to bring the vehicle back.

To address the last two concerns ****** *. (Now wife) has about her husbands truch purchase/ transaction.

First Auto Credit did refund the $2,000 down payment money to them once they brought the vehcile back to First Auto Credit. Along with an additional $500 for any type of inconveniences. (Documents are attached)

    1. $1,000 refunded back to there credit card signed by **** *. (Husband) - (Reference Number Attached date 01/26/2023)

    2. $1,000 check writen to **** *. (Husband) for the cash he put down (***** ****** ***** ***** ***********

    3. $500 Inconvenience check writen to **** *. (Husband) for the process not working out they way everyone hoped it would (***** ****** ***** ***** *********

Lastly in the time it took for the repair at Christion Brothers Automotive First Community Credit Union funed and activated the contract that **** *. (Husband) signed with them. Once the decision was made to unwind this contracted agreement on the second truck. First Auto Credit has zero control on how fast First Community Credit Union's process is to refund the money back to First Auto Credit and or how fast they remove the Notice of lien to the State of Missouri or to remove the Open Auto Loan **** *. (Husband) signed a contract for. We might recomend writing a few letters to them about this concern.

As far as First Auto Credit is concerned this case is closed.

    Thank you agian

I purchased a car from them on July 28th. I traded in my car. The car cut off on me while I was driving. This was a week and a half after buying it. After a week, I told them something was wrong with it. They towed it from the mall parking lot. They had it for 2 days and said it was the ignition switch. I got it back and a week later, it cut off on me again. The came and got it and said it is the fuel pump. They still have it now. I wanted them to take the car back and give me the one I traded in back. They refused.

*** ***** purchased a vehicle and several days after she purchased the unit it had mechanical proplems.  First Auto Credit picked up the unit at no cost to the customer and fixed the unit again at no cost.  A week after the repair the vehicle had another issure.  Again, we picked up the unit and fixed the issue again ot no cost.  First Auto Credit also paid the taxi services and fuel at no cost to the customer.  We also did not refuse to return her trade, the fact of the matter is, her trade was sold shortly after she purchased the unit.  the customer requested that we refund the trade amount and undo the vehicle purchase, which is exactly what did.
