    8/7/2024 Had a small collision went to repair shop for estimate for tire issue on 8/30/2024 paid $104 for estimate for fixture to repair was given $1700.00 estimate. was told that all this needed to be fixed however after my own research found that it is recommended but not necessary to make vehicle run correctly. I paid $435, then $474 because he said this was the the necessary things needed instead of doing one side at a time like we agreed he did the fixtures to opposites sides to ensure I would have to come back. Took car to a ********* they could not pass the inspection nor align the car because of the work he did. I went to 2nd mechanic paid $200 to fix what was needed to come back to ********* for alignment to be told that the Speedy lube put wrong parts on from the beginning. Had to repay $200 to ********* to fix the original fixture so it could pass safety inspection then to do alignment. I am a disable veteran with children and this is unacceptable for him to overcharge on the price of the parts at speedy lube when I asked if i could bring in my own parts he lied and said they are special parts that he had to get from the factory. I had already received original receipt then when requested a copy of receipt/estimates he inserted a note in the comment section. I have all original copies. I just asked for copy to see his response after I stated that the work was over charged and I went elsewhere to get the rest completed. I feel that since I am a woman my civil rights were violated by predatory mechanic. I understand it is a business but it is un ethical to over charge women and veterans for services and put wrong parts on. I have documented notes from ********* for both trips and safety inspections after speedy lube did work. His side was always the one that was off balance on machine at *********. after I called him instead of just fixing it he insulted my by calling me naive. All he had to do is fix it but instead he left a note saying no warranty
