      The car wash machine broke my windshield wiper. When I talked to the manager, he told me it was my fault and nothing would be done about it. He yelled at me on the phone and I told him to cancel my account. One month later, I was charged again for services. I called him and told *** I had cancelled, he said he remembered ****** me but forgot to cancel me. I asked for a refund and he said no he would only give me a gift card to use at their car wash. I stated that was pointless as I wouldn't take my truck back through the machine to have it be broken again. So he said fine and hung up on me.

      On the morning of January 17, 2025 I got the most expensive car wash of my life. I took my new car through their wash and exited with damage to the paint on my hood. I contacted the company to ask how to file a claim. I was contacted by a manager who asked me to come back so we could file the necessary information and take pictures of the damage. A few days later I was sent a text message stating they would not pay for the damage because they reviewed their video and the damage was there before I entered the car wash. I asked multiple times to see this supposed proof, and was ignored and put off, probably because such video footage doesn't exist, as I have my own proof that the damage was not there before I entered the car wash. I simply want the damage to my vehicle fixed, to be made whole, as this damage was no fault of my own and I wish to prevent further damage.

      I belive this place did Damage to my vehicle, then refused to do anything about it. They claim they have proof. I thought, awesome send it to me, and we can be done with this. They won't send me anything. I tried more than once for them to send me what they claim as proof, but they refuse. They have a disclaimer about vehicles older than five year, but its right before you enter the wash where it's not easy to back out at that point. In addtion probably 90% of the vehicles that are getting their car washed are older than 5 years old. In addtition they left the car nasty and it honestly looked better prior to me going through their wash. The worker said it is most likely salt. Isn't that the point of a car wash ? To remove salt ?

      On November 10th, 2024 I decided to take my truck through the Brite Worx Car Washery on *****************. It was a very sunny, clear day. Ive owned my truck for 5 months and the truck is in perfect shape. I spent $10 for a basic wash. After the wash there were swirled scratches on the hood. I asked to start a claim and they tried to take photos in bright sunlight so you couldnt even see the scratches. They even said "you cant see them on the iPad." I emailed them my own photos that clearly show how bad the scratches are and they will not admit to fault of the scratches. They told me its from hand drying after the wash, which I didnt do, because they have air dryers at the end of the tunnel. They said they have soft-touch cloth that wouldnt scratch paint and there were no mechanical failures for them to assume liability. They just kept pushing the blame on me. The scratches are clearly swirled from the car wash hanging cloth. There should be some form of insurance these people have if operating a car wash that physically damages a vehicle. I don't remember any waivers when the machine took my payment. They also did not state any waiver existed when the claim was started. They damaged property, they should be liable.

      Incident/Damages occurred evening of Friday 8/18/23. Purchased premium carwash from Brite Worx Car Washery in **** ****, MO. Proceeded through wash and left once completed, never exited vehicle during the process. Later that evening I realized the rear wiper arm assembly was broken/snapped off. Call Brite Worx, employee locates wiper and proceeds to tell me I will need to fill out an incident report and submit 1 estimate for damage reimbursement. Morning of Saturday 8/19/23 arrived @ Brite Worx to fill out incident report and pick up damaged part (no manager on duty). Once again assured only 1 estimate needed. Morning of Monday 8/21/23 arrived @ Brite Worx w/ estimate from ****** ***** ****** and talk to store manager ********. He proceeds to tell me there will need to be an investigation (review of tapes) and 2 estimates are needed. Shortly after leaving, ******** calls stating video evidence confirms damage. Says someone will follow up with me soon regarding reimbursement. Weeks go by and no follow up. Monday 10/2/23 approx. 2:30 PM I call Brite Worx to follow up, ******** has left for the day. Call Tuesday 10/3/23 morning speak with ********. At this point he tells me still just 2 estimates needed. Which I have. Now states reimbursement will only be made to the repair facility with the lowest estimate. I explain to him I understand the lowest amount for reimbursement, but a check directly made out to repair facility will not work for me. Damage my car then dictate who repairs damages? I email both repair estimates from ****** ***** ****** and *** Fouz ****** to ********. After the estimates are emailed that's when the requirement for reimbursement is changed. They can't not accept estimates, now they need a "paid receipt". A cash reimbursement from register is offered at some point during email thread for "part only no labor" Hmm. time isn't worth anything? Brite Worx employee(s) have multiple times acknowledged responsibility for damages but will not reimburse.

      While getting a carwash and vehicle in neutral BriteWorX system pushed my car into another car. I
      talked the manager that day, was told they was not responsible. I spoke with a local police that
      came out, he suggested I file a complain, saying the car wash system should have an anti stop
      system installed to prevent accident. I am looking to get my car fixed.

      This is in response to an incident that occurred on December 15, 2022, at Brite Worx carwash. On Mr. ******* visit to the wash he was involved in an accident that was caused by the customer in front of him being unable to properly follow instructions to leave their vehicle in "Neutral. The customer was stopped at our exit in "park' and was unable to shift their vehicle into drive. Mr. ****** at that point made contact with this car which was not moving. Our site manager advised the two customers to exchange Insurance information due the stopped vehicle being at fault. We offered to show Mr. ****** the video footage which is still available to explain what had happened at which point he vehemently refused. We unfortunately cannot be responsible for errors caused from customers not following visual/vocal instructions. Please let us know we will be happy to provide on-site access by BBB to review footage.

      The other driver left, saying the same. “ the tracks should have stopped me from hitting her car while I was in neutral . I need proof for my insurance company to file a claim. 
      Did your car wash system have an anti-accident system installed the day of my incident, does it have it installed today, please advise ?

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Did Brite WorX car washers have an anti-accident system installed, to prevent accidents/incidents/ injuries from happening like mine? 
      Normal car washes have a system installed, to prevent cars from moving if there is a stoppage on the tracks, regardless if any vehicles fail to pull off at the end/beginning of the wash cycle.

      I’m guessing if the system wasn’t installed prior to my wash, others had the same accident/incident, that a lawyer or media need to look into.

      On October 1st my husband and myself went to this car wash for the first time at the Crestwood location. We had never been there before. We pay for a basic wash and proceed into the wash. We noticed as the wash was going that it seemed very rough on the vehicle, we then leave the wash we drove about a mile down the road and that's when my husband noticed that the mirror was flipped back in an awkward position. He put back into place and noticed that the plastic housing was cracked and banged up. We went back to the Brite Worx car wash and was told no manager was on duty so they took pictures and information and said someone would be in touch with me. Well today the manager called and basically that the damage was there before I ever entered the wash and the video camera proved it that there was no responsibility from them. My 2021 chevy Equinox is now damaged and I know for a fact that it was not before I entered that car wash. I've also been looking up all reviews of this place and it seems to me that they are always claiming it's the owner of the vehicle's fault.

      We have invited *** ****** to meet with us to review the video of her entering our car wash, which clearly shows that there was existing damage to the driver's side mirror prior to her entering the wash.  On the driver's side you can see that the trim around the mirror is separated from the main housing, and this is not the case on the passenger's side.  *** ****** has declined this invitation.  If *** ****** refuses to review the evidence available; it is not possible to resolve her claim.  

      We have saved copies of this video and would invite *** *****n and/or someone from the BBB to our location to review the clear evidence that there was existing damage to the mirror.  We also have pictures from the damage report that was completed by our associate which shows "scuff" marks on the mirror housing, that could not have been caused by our car wash equipment, which is further evidence of existing damage.  We would welcome a representative from the BBB to our site to review these pictures, as well.
