I received a quote to have our house leveled. We were promised that 2 experienced workers would be out with a lazer level. The day of the appointment both Rob and I took off of work and no one showed up. I called the person that ran our bid and he said that there must have been a mistake somewhere. I got a call within an hour and was told that the guys were still on another job and would be out next week. I was quite mad since both of us had taken the day off from work and could have worked that day and not lost out on that days pay. Now we would need to take another day off. The following week the workers were a no call no show again. We called the company asking were they were and I was told that since it was raining they did not want to get dirty. I was like what? He told me he did not want his guys getting dirty. I said you are construction workers right? My house sits on gravel and concrete. No mud or dirt, and you never called to cancel, this was after 9:45 when I had gotten ahold of them and they were to be there to work at 7am. Both Rob and had lost out of another day of work because they had to reschedule again and they would not refund our deposit of $560, and 2 lost days of work for both of us. The day they finally showed up to work 1 was a brand new employee he just started that week per his information since he spent the 4 hours he was there on his cell phone texting his wife up stairs with me. The other worker did not use a lazer level, and he made the center of our house so uneven it is not even funny. When they were done, I told the guy who was working under the house how uneven the center was he told me to jump on the center beam to get it to level out and left. He never came in and checked the work. I called the owner when they billed me for 8 hours of work when they only worked 4 how bad the job was that it needed to be fixed and hesaid it would be. He refuses to take my calls. This company and all management is horrible. They cashed all of my checks then try to say you don't pay your bills.
