On October 6th, I had brought my vehicle in to Excess Customz for serval services, including a transmission flush. Shortly after services were finished, 1 hour after leaving Excess Customz I had lost the ability to shift into gear. And found significant leak from the transmission pan. They picked up my vehicle Oct.7th, re-filled transmission fluid and attempted to tell me the transmission pump failed. During this time, the owner attempted to quote me for a new transmission swap/a transmission pump stating my transmission pump was "bad". After some argument, I decided to take the vehicle in to another local ASE certified technician to receive a second opinion. During inspection this technician stated the original technician who had done the transmission flush did so incorrectly. The seal was installed incorrectly with liquid seal, the filter was not installed properly, and fluid was over full. This technician had also informed owner ***** ****** of his findings, and all that was needed was a new seal, correctly installed, new filter and a fluid re-fill. (transmission was not in fact bad). I gave ***** ****** opportunity to rectify this situation as I was out time, money, work and essentially was forced to pay for towing, initial services for the transmission, as well as the services that corrected the mistakes made by ***** ******'s technician. I am simply seeking appropriate compensation for the mistakes his technician made which have left me with undue financial hardship. ***** ****** has behaved poorly during this entire ordeal, refusing to take responsibility. The actions of this shop owner have been scummy, and underhanded at best, and it has been made very clearly this shop and the owner has intentions of swindling customers with shotty sub-par work, and needless repairs to make a fast easy buck off of the backs of whom they believe they can pull one over on. Plain simple greed. I am absolutely disgusted by the outcome of this entire ordeal.

I reached out to the consumer after I received the complaint.  I made an offer to the consumer and she never responded.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I have responded back to the business and I have prof. After I messaged back to the business all he sent back was an apology. And again I can screen shot the text messages he and I have sent. I never replied to the apology. Due to I felt it wasn't a true one. I sent my offer to him back before the apology text he had sent. He had amidmited to fault but then in the next sentence was in a way denying. His mechanic didn't do his job proper and in result caused problems with my truck. Again he sent a text with an offer I replied back to the offer then he sent an apology and then I didn't reply back. There was no offer in the apology no resolution to the fact of his company after I sent an offer to try to resolve the matter. That's why I never replied. And I have prof of the conversation.

    Sincerely,
    ******* ******
