      **** ****** ************************************************************************* ************ *********************** 03/15/2025 Midwest Recovery ******************************************************* Subject: Cease and Desist Demand To Whom It May Concern,This letter serves as a formal demand that Midwest Recovery immediately cease and desist all collection activities regarding the alleged debt associated with account number 6264****.********************************************* does not possess a valid license to collect debts in the state of Illinois and is therefore operating illegally in violation of state and federal laws, including but not limited to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and 15 U.S.C. 1692C. Your continued attempts to collect this alleged debt are unlawful and infringe upon my consumer rights.I hereby demand that you remove this account from my credit report immediately. If this account is not deleted from my credit report within four (4) days of your receipt of this letter, I will have no choice but to pursue all legal remedies available to me, including but not limited to filing a lawsuit against Midwest Recovery for damages and reporting your illegal practices to the ********************************* and the ************************************ (****).This letter serves as my formal notice under 15 U.S.C. 1692C that I do not wish to be contacted by your company in any manner other than written communication confirming the deletion of this account from my credit report.       I am not liable for this debt with EMERG ASSOC OF ********** I do not have a contract with Midwest RECOVERY SYSTEMS collection agency to provide any payments to them. they did not provide me with the original contract as requested

      I had a vehicle with Pelican Auto reposessed in 2013. Literally 10 years ago, they just reported on my credit report. Stating the loan was OPENED in 2018, and that I owed $9,900 . FIVE years after the vehicle was voluntarily reposessed, and wasn't supposed to show as a debt, but a repossession, with no balance. Regardless it shouldn't be on my report after 10-01-2020. So three years after, they're just now reporting an inaccurate debt, for an inaccurate time.
