    On January 9th 2024 I contacted the before mentioned company to clean up and remove trash from a trailer for the amount of 2000 via Thumbtack.com. Two people came out without any equipment except for a small 10ft flat bed trailer. They filled up their trailer with scrap metal then told me they did not have the correct equipment to do the job. Was told to burn the trailer and they would come back and do the job as soon as they were notified. ****** begged over and over again about paying 1000 and the other 1000 when the job was completed so he could make payroll because it a new company. Trailer burnt 4 weeks ago, so contacted ****** and then everything changed, it was no longer a new company, they all worked another job did not have the time to do the work. Called the following week and the same excuse was used. So, I asked a refund due to know work done. Was told not getting a refund because they planned to come out. Today 03/05/2024 they are not coming to do the work nor will i be getting a refund per ******.

    On January 9, 2024 I was contacted by ****, as his name is shown on thumbtack, to clean up his property. I sent out two crew members after we had agreed to a price of $2000. My crew members stated that there were items to large to remove and an old double wide deck would need to be destroyed prior to removing it, and we would need heavy equipment and a larger trailer. I informed the customer and he stated that he would burn the trailer out and we would schedule another day to clear it. After an ice storm I contacted him to ask when he wanted me to come out. He told me sometime that week. Everyone in my crew, including myself work in emergency medical services and are not always available on certain days. I told him I would get availability from my crew and then I would be back to him once the crew and equipment was acquired. A Wednesday or so after this I got an angry text message saying that I told him that I am not a new business, which I am, that I was lying about working full time in emergency medicine, which Im not, accused me of begging him to cover my payroll, which I didnt because I pay my crew their wages from the job after they finish. I never got a phone call from this customer except for the first time I contacted them about the job. I am refusing a refund as I had performed half the job and was paid as per the agreement that is attached to this response. I would add more, however, there are only 5 attachments slots.
