    I submitted a request for an instant exchange on a swimsuit due to needing a smaller size. This should have been an even exchange as it was exchanging the same suit for a smaller size. At checkout it indicated a $1 hold would be placed on my card however received a receipt via email for order reflecting a charge of $9.90 which was not authorized by myself. Additionally, when submitting the exchange request, it indicated I would be provided a return shipping label and item must be returned within a given timeframe or Ill be charged for the replacement suit. I did not receive a return label and now I am stressed as I am leaving for a long vacation in a few days and may miss the deadline to return the suit. Summersalt unfortunately has no way of contact other than email with a delayed response which is extremely frustrating.

    I purchased a swim suit on May 28th. It did note that it was a preorder and would ship the week of June 8th. It shipped on June 13th. I received my swim suit, tried on a promptly completed an exchange request and dropped the return item in the mail. I then received the exchange on 6/25, tried on, disliked and completed another exchange (if the company offered free return shipping this wouldve been much easier, but the offer free exchange so thats what I did). I then received my next item on Tuesday, July 8th. It was the incorrect item. I immediately email Summersalt with photos asking for an expedited replacement for what I ordered. Because I am leaving for vacation in 2 days (from today). They responded requesting more evidence and that once received they would issue a replacement. What I sent originally shouldve been sufficient as it was a photo of the incorrect items and the shipping package. I have provided the additional proof requested and have not had a response since Wednesday. Its completely crazy that its acceptable to only have email as a form of communication for a business! They have no phone numbers anywhere.

    I purchased a final sale item from this company as part of a larger order. Everything else in the order was satisfactory. However, they sent me one wrong item. I purchased the Long Torso version of one of their one pieces, however, what I received was a regular length swimsuit. The tags clearly show it is not the long torso version and because of that, it does not fit properly. I cant wear it.There is no way for me to initiate a return through their website on this specific item because it is final sale. I have sent two emails to their help email address in the past week with photo proof, but have yet to receive any response except for a generic weve received your email. All I am asking to do is exchange the item for the properly sized one or to return it for a refund. Final sale doesnt mean that if the company ships the wrong item that there is no recourse. Its unfortunate because it is hard to find companies that sell clothing for taller women. I could have seen myself as a repeat customer at this business, but due to their poor customer service, I will never shop here again. I will also strongly discourage others from using them.I was also hoping to wear this swimsuit while on my upcoming vacation, but its too late now. Very disappointing experience.

    I purchased the Sidestroke swimsuit (***************************************************************************************) from Dick's Sporting Goods, a PA-based sports retailer, last fall. I wore the suit this spring in a hotel hot tub, and the color faded from the suit, or it is not color-fast in chlorinated water. I reached out to Summersalt, and they advised me to contact the retailer, Dick's. Dick's would not take back the suit because it was over 90 days old and was due to a manufacturer's defect. Summersalt's marketing claims state that Summersalt suits are tested against chlorine and designed to withstand prolonged exposure to pools and similar environments. Despite following appropriate care guidelines, including hand washing and prompt rinsing, the swimsuits dye bled after a single, ordinary use in a hotel hot tub. This defect renders the suit unfit for its intended purpose, which is inconsistent with the implied warranty of merchantability under the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and contrary to the reasonable expectations of consumers relying on your representations. The suit is unwearable. Summersalt's offer of a $20 credit is inadequate because the retail cost of the suit is $95. Further, I don't want to purchase another defective product that will fade in a swimming pool.

As mentioned by my team & in our FAQ, unfortunately, since the suit was not purchased directly from our site we physically cannot alter orders from other companies. As with any product sold at any retailer, you should go directly to the store where the item was purchased to inquire about their return/refund policy.     I'm bummed to hear your suit was damaged after you first wore it! Weve tested our suits against chemicals like chlorine, so it appears the chemicals you experienced were beyond what is standard, and I agree with my team's assessment that your specific & unusual circumstance is the result of a unique combination of issues including stronger than average chemicals in the public hot tub you used, as well as after care.


    Anytime you wear a suit in a public pool or hot tub, I would recommend following the care instructions listed on our Garment Care page: For our suits specifically, "we recommend hand washing your suit by itself with cold water and a gentle soap. Do not soak, just a quick wash will do! Hang dry to keep your suit looking as good as new." Any detergents labeled free and clear are great choices (especially the eco-friendly brands). This detergent is gentle enough for the fabric while still getting a great clean!

    I ordered 3 swimsuits on 6/14. It is now 6/24 and they still have not been shipped. One of the swimsuits said it would ship the week of 6/22, but the others said nothing so I assumed they would ship in 1-3 business days like normal. The website advertises expedited shipping for orders over $200 and I spent over $400. I sent an email on 6/21 and have heard nothing back. It is crazy that there is no other way to get customer service . I would like to know what is going on with my order.

    I'm sorry to hear if this message didn't make it's way to you! As to your question about expedited shipping, this free expedited shipping promotion began on 6/20, six days before you placed your order. However, I would be more than happy to retroactively apply this promotion to your order anyway as a one time exception.

    Summersalt advertised new swimsuits ahead of actually obtaining any stock of the items, stating they would be shipped the week of 6/1. I placed my order on May 19th, and have contacted them multiple times regarding my order as for it has not shipped to this day, 6/13. They told me on 6/8 that there was a delay and that these items would now ship the week of 6/8, since they ship on business days, its clear that I will not be getting my items on the second week of telling me theyd ship them. They are already advertising additional swimsuit roll outs that ship the week of 6/15 when they havent even shipped these ones out, and they more than likely wont be able to ship those out either since they continue to post without actual stock putting customers relying on items like me out with nothing. Every time I order from them, there are issues with getting my items in a timely manner, and I have to go back and forth with their customer service. This company has very poor practices with little improvement year after year. They have issued me $20 off a future order as a thank you for my patience, which is ridiculous because why would I want to do this again? No accommodation on the actual order they screwed up and no sign of that order coming still. I would like my order expedited to me immediately, which I was charged $568 for, and have not received.

    I ordered bathing suits on June 1st and while one was a preorder it was supposed to ship the week of June 6th and now its June 12th and nothing has shipped. I spent over $300 and I havent received anything

    SummserSalt refused to accept or credit me for my return of one $100 bathing suit bought off IG. I quickly returned the one suit in its original packaging using SS return process and policy. Four months later and way too many emails with them giving me the run around I have no suit and no refund. SS simply says they never received the return. Absolutely no customer service either than emailing.

    On 1/14/25 I purchased 2 swimsuits. One on sale, one full price. The sale item was not properly advertised as final sale and I only realized this upon receiving a receipt - not prior to ordering. I received both suits on 1/17/25, and tried both on before leaving for the vacation they were purchased for. Neither fit. I inquired with the company about a return on 2/2/25 but was not returning home until 2/18/25. I obviously did not bring ill fitting suits on my vacation in order to return. There is no customer service phone number and I am being sent a form email that there is no return option, and charged shipping and restocking fees for brand new items. This company is a scam. Below is an example of how the final sale item was listed on the website (taken today - I didnt screenshot at the time) and a screenshot of how the policy was printed once the purchase was made - very misleading.

    I ordered a few swim items off instagram from the vendor and found out when I attempted to return them that two of them were ineligible for return. I clicked into their return policy and checked my cart for any indication that these were ineligible for return. I also looked at my order confirmation as well. There was nothing on the item listing either. I actually have no doubt they have it listed somewhere but I do think (and see confirmed by other people who have reviewed them) that they are clear about their return policy on different items and sales events. This is not new feedback and they continue to practice in this way so it feels they are taking advantage of that lack of clarity to unload merchandise. My sense is this won't be resolved but consumers should be aware that they need to read the site very thoroughly to understand if they can obtain a return.
