    March 30 told *** ******* that I'd like him to complete the work and listed the specific tasks he was to complete. March 31 *** replied and confirmed all items (see attached emails). I ordered the sheet vinyl and picked it up on 4/7/2025 and told *** it was in. He said he'd come to install on 4/8. That didn't happen. We settled on 4/9 but he didn't show up until 6:30pm. I needed the bathroom done so allowed him to start. About 11pm *** said he had had trouble with the flooring because the walls weren't straight and he had had to cut the sheet into various pieces. He said the seams in the flooring should shrink down and be fine but that he'd come back to fix them if not. I paid him $560.96. He also said we would need a new toilet since the old one he put back in was leaking. We agreed to get a new toilet which *** was to install for an additional $50. Advised *** we had a new toilet on 4/10 and that the seams didn't shrink down so needed attention. After some back and forth we agreed he would come 1st thing Monday 4/14. More excuses so he didn't come Monday; but did show up finally on the 15th and put in the new toilet. Unfortunately he didn't have his materials to fix the seams but said he'd come back when he got his truck to take out the debris and fix the seams. I paid him the $50 extra trusting he would complete his end of the contract. He has not responded to phone calls, emails or text since that time. I am out the $610.96 to him, plus the $121.54 for the sheet vinyl and the $30+ for wax rings and other materials he used. I would ask for the $762.50 in actual costs back. My time and aggravation I chalk up as a learning experience. I should have known better.

    We wrote up a contract for him to do the kitchen and two bathrooms. He was suppose to put in a vanity in both bathrooms, flooring, a toilet in one and two paint. ******* ***** *** ********* removed the flooring, vanity, and one of the toilets, and in the kitchen they removed the flooring, sub flooring, island, and the and all the bottom cabinets. Along with the sink and the dishwasher. JP ******* did a lot of fast talking and stated he had dishwasher so I will bring that over. He never did bring the dishwasher. He was paid by check in the amount of $9500.00. Some of the material was delivered. The only thing that was delivered was two vanities, drywall, and subflooring. The only thing he did was put a toilet in one of the bathrooms. He stated that he was going to get a mirror and he would be back, but he never returned. He is not returning phone calls. I would like to be refunded in the amount of $9500.00

    Hello,

     My name is *** ******* founder and CEO of the company known as "JP DouglasEnterprizes L.L.C". We apologize for the delayed response to this matter. As the USPS has for reasons outside of our control failed to deliver any mail to our office or in fact to my home now for months. We would have responded much sooner as we just received this letter today. We have long since rectified the situation and assure you that we in fact were NOT or ever was at anytime the  General Contractor on this project at **** **** *** ********* *** ***** the home of Ms. ********* *****. In fact her uncle "Mr. **** ******" aka "*** **********" who has been an associate of ours within the remodeling business for a few years prior too the project in question, and in fact is and still remains the only G.C. on the project at **** **** ** ********** *** *****. We were simply hired by "*** **********" or **** ****** aka Ms. *****' Uncle as an advisor to the project. After some difference's of opinion's between Mr. ****** and I, we removed are selves from any and ALL involvement on said project in question, effective immediately on or about the date of 7/7/2023. We have since made both Ms. ***** her uncle and property owner "*** ******* *******" whole, and fully aware of the situation. Then have since removed ourselves from any further involvement with said project, and completed any/all action's in a manor of recourse or re-imbursement's as of 7/14/2023 to all parties involved as promised. Please view and retain all attachments and correspondence to all parties involved for record keeping purpose's. Furthermore we have NOT and have never at anytime since "JP Douglas Enterprizes L.L.C" was formed attempted too obtain/or take, misuse misappropriate any funds, disguise or conceal in order to falsely acquire any monies, demonstrate false pretense in a manor so to obtain monies, fail to complete any project workloads, present poor or lack there of quality workmanship, or otherwise demonstrate any manners of unprofessionalism, nor perform display, commit, or to act in anyway solely to mislead a client or "Ms. ********* *****" to obtain funds and/or materials, for any reason or in any unlawful manor at anytime EVER! "JP Douglas Enterprizes L.L.C " nor any of its affiliates at anytime has NEVER conducted business in this manor or will ever at anytime in the future! This I can assure you. We would kindly ask of the Better Business Bureau at this time to please send to us any correspondence to confirm that after viewing attached documents, discussing and or verifying the information enclosed with any and all necessary parties involved that the investigation and or "closing" of this matter has since been completed. Afterwards, we would like to ask of the Better Business Bureau that to please maintain our "JP Douglas Enterprizes" A+BBB rating. We would very much appreciate this. Thank you!
