They are trying to scam me because they never called me before they did repairs on my car. They gave me a $215 bill over what they gave me as an estimate. They didn&#**;t call me before they did repairs on my car. The first repairs were $429.00. I&#**;m trying to get an OCD on it. I would like for them to refund my money at least $200.00 for unauthorized repairs done to my car.

    Business Response

Customer called and wanted us to come to his house and try to start car. We didnt charge him a service call. Would not start and had to be towed. Car is old and carbureted and had been sitting for 3 years. Told him we wouldnt be able to give him an estimate until we did some diagnostics. First ticket he had was what we had to do to even be able to tell him anything. Then the second ticket I gave him an estimate of $337.12. Car still would not run so we did further checking to find out carb needed rebuilt and a new fuel tank. Since we had more time in it I told tech to push it out until I called customer. I was working on estimate for customer and he came in before I was done getting parts found. He asked me why I hadnt called him and I showed him my computer screen so he could see I was working on his estimate. He chewed me out for about 15 min. At this point I wasnt for sure we even wanted to work on his car as with something thats been setting so long who knows what else we were going to run into. He finally calmed down and asked if we would proceed with work. Then he decided we should have never tried to start his car and the carb would have been fine. He just kept insulting us and mentioned 5 times that I didnt call him the first time. Them he proceeded to say the carb was fine. Replace just the gas tank and it would be drivable. I knew this was not the case and it would come back to haunt us.  I finally walked over and got his keys and said I dont think we are the shop for you. Please have your car towed somewhere else. I dont need customers like him. He proceeded to tell me he would see us in court and I said that was just fine. Im not refunding any money. We actually had 2 more hours in the car then what I charged him for. He will not be happy with the shop he has it at now and he will be turning them in. We have already talked to them about what it needs and they know nothing about carbs. That is all I know to tell you. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks, Klista
