    Upon check in on Friday, April 12, the lady working at the front desk could not find our reservation. Even after showing her the confirmation email, the confirmation on the *** app, she could not find us. She had to make us a new reservation but we were concerned about the original reservation not being canceled so she made a note in the system so that we would not be charged twice. Upon checkout, we saw 2 pending charges on our credit card, and assumed one was the original reservation and would drop off. Called the manager, ****** on Monday, April 15 and left a voicemail to get his help getting the 2nd charge dropped. On Sunday, April 14, the correct charge of $368.89 posted on our credit card which was the expected cost of the stay. On Tuesday, April 15, still hadn't heard from him and the large amount of $542.38 posted to our credit card. Again, assuming it was just a miscommunication regarding our original reservation, my husband called ****** on Thursday, April 18 and left a voicemail. He finally called me back, and informed us there was evidence of us smoking marijuana in the room so we were charged for the room being shut down for cleaning. One, that is completely ludicrous. We are non smokers, we were there with our 14 and 11 year old daughters for a tournament, and there is no way he has "evidence" of nonsmokers smoking in the room. Second, he did not send us any notification of this accusation, no additional paid statement, no email, no phone call, nothing indicated on our *** account at all. He simply ran our credit card again. ****** was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on me when I said I would fight these charges. Looking at recent ****** reviews, ****** did this to another person on March 23, 2024 (accused a nonsmoker of smoking), and has several others he has charged for fraudulent reasons. We have also contacted *** corporate who will hopefully help us resolve this issue. We just want our $542.38 back after being falsely accused of this.

    As a travel nurse, I was not happy at this location, you will need at least $1200 up front (because they run your credit card every 5 days...WHO DOES THAT!) so be prepared for all my fellow travel nurses if you choose to stay here (this is not worth it at all). The General Manager *************************** was not friendly at all and when I addressed bed bugs in my room with pictures at 1:30a on night 1, he brushed it off the next day with no acts of caring if I was ok with the bites I endured. I do not recommend this hotel to any traveler, especially my fellow travel nurses, he does not accommodate well for us, other hotels in the area are more appreciative and accommodating (as I check out of this hotel and went to another) to our help and assistance. They get a 1 star because laundry is on site and free.
